Earlier in the thread someone mentioned that they were in Best Buy for something else and noticed that they had some Wiis. I don't think there are lines waiting for this stuff anymore, stores just put them on the shelves when they get them and they are usually gone by the end of the day. At this point, it seems almost like a crap shoot if you happen to be in a store when they get some or if you call them at the right time.
Ok DaDa I have you added. It looks like how it works is that I can physically send them to you by using the envelope on the plaza screen. If the travel settings are on and the Mii is set to mingle, they may go over on their own but they will be in the parade section. That will give you the choice of deleting them or adding them to your collection. To test it I will send you the Lance Berkman Mii my 6 year old made. It is actually pretty good. BTW I didn't ever get a message that you had added me. It just went bold when I added you. Then all of a sudden the envelope on the Mii channel was active instead of telling me I needed to register friends. That is different from the email addresses. When you register an email address it sends a message to that person telling them they have been registered.
Oh and I also added Miguel and Vengeance, so if you guys want to add me feel free to. My number is 4087 9757 8998 1341
My girlfriend's step-father told me he is getting a Wii in the near future. I'm over there enough that that means I won't have to buy one with my tax returns! Wiiiii.
Well, I don't know if there are any left, but I called the Gamestop on 8880 Bellaire last night at 6:00 pm and they had just received a box of them. I got mine! Freaking finally.
I tried to post from the Wii but I couldn't log into the forum. It would let me input my username and password but then I'd get an error. Sucks.
Finally! I got my Wii yesterday at the EB Games near Willowbrook 24 after work around 6. Too bad its a very late xmas gift for someone else and they only let me get 1 so i will hafta wait for mine. But ive heard that every Target will have a bunch to sell (15+) on jan 21 for those who are still looking.
I was just at the Best Buy next to the galleria a couple of hours ago. 12 PS3s were available. No Wiis (or accessories) in sight.
I just got warioware, my girlfriend and I played it @ the nintendo fusion tour concert in october, so I already know how fun it is...but it's going to be fun as hell to finally have it at home.
What comes included in the wii box? Do I need to get the wii chuck controller? How much are extra wii controllers?
You get a Wii, Wii Sports, A Wiimote, and a Nunchuck (the part that attaches to the Wiimote). You can buy extra Wiimotes for $40 and Nunchucks for $20. You can have plenty of fun with Wii Sports right out of the box with one Wiimote/nunchuck combo, but to really have some fun two-player action, you need two.
