I think they're still coming out once a week. I doubt it would take until end of January. Likely Wednesday or Sunday.

Cool I am tired of playing with the same old Mii's. Well except the dude they have that looks like Jesus :). My son and I call him that. We played baseball the other day and he was in the outfield. He made an error and my son was running around the living room going "Jesus made an error".

Anybody else getting pissed off with Wii Sports? I got to a certain point in Wii boxing where I couldn't play anymore because the AI was too fast for the s**tty response time/controls. And then tennis has one serious flaw. I have to do either a forehand or backhand depending on what side of the court I'm on. If i'm on the left side of the court my guys will ONLY hold the racket to their left side so I have to use a backhand and vice versa on the right side of the court. It really starts to become frustrating. And then baseball, I'm cruising along getting win after win and then hit a point just below pro level and all the sudden the ai just starts owning me and now I've lost 5 in a row and have been mercy ruled in 3 of those games. I'm like, wtf?! I'm not doing anything different but the ai seems to be sitting on every single damn pitch I throw. It's nuts. And of course it doesn't help that I can't control my players. Wtf is wrong w/ the pitcher that he misplays the ball everytime it's hit to him?!

Don't get me wrong, I love Wii sports and it's especially fun when you're playing with friends. And I know these games were pretty basic; as a foundation they're truly awesome games when used with the Wii controller. But each one of the sports has some definite flaws that hopefully will be improved upon.

let me put this as best as I can...I'm pro in bowling / tennis / baseball...I don't even bother touching boxing cus it's terrible.

I don't have the problems you mentioned in tennis or baseball, they're not easy...but they're not that hard either just takes practice. as far as the errors and such...sh*t happens. it's random, they're not full on simulations. gotta take the good with the bad.

Still looking for my Wii. I've read a lot of shipments went to Target today but I couldn't check or get them anyway if they did come to Houston stores due to my car getting its windshield replaced. Hopefully tomorrow will bring some good news.

How do I get a Wii from Best Buy? Are people still lining up? I plan on just going everyday after work. Will this get me anywhere? I would like to get one asap so I can sell it because of my gift card dilemma.

Not to derail but the girl at EB games said PS3s are coming back left and right....while the Wii is still the hot one...followed by the X-Box 360...could Sony have finally crashed?

I was so pissed this last weekend. The Walmart near where I live apparently got a bunch of Wiis over the weekend, and I was there Saturday and Sunday evening doing shopping but I never went and asked them about it. I probably could have had one. :(

DaDa. the way it works I believe is that you can get them in the parade. Mine will start showing up once I add you, but I have been disconnected the last couple of days. Once they show up in the parade you can choose which ones to actually add to your system. To see the ones that "mingle" over you have to go to the parade section. From there you can delete them from your machine or add them to your plaza. For yours to mingle you have to set the travel function in the parade section to on and then you have to set individual Miis to mingle (this keeps any you don't want going other places from traveling). I'll try to add you this evening when I get home. And maybe we can test it out.

Awesome.....what time are you at home?

This thing is amazing, my 4 year old is addicted, and my 8 year old loves it too, but he likes playing the GameCube games on it.

    Nintendo has a home run.....

And, I got my new straps in and replaced the old ones, but kept them in case the new ones break and I need a backup.

    :D

Not sure, I have practice tonight, so it will probably be around 6:30 or so. We don;t really have to be on at the same time for it to work. You should get a message once I add you. Then you can go to the Mii channel and check the parade. My characters should start showing up but, you may have to click the Wii friend button to get it started. Once I get home and try it out, I'll post, on here, my findings.

I was struck with the same thought last night. My 6 year old loves Wii Sports. He tried boxing for the first time last night and won 8 matches in a row all with KO's. By the time he was finished he was sweating and exhausted. he is getting way more exercise from the Wii than he would be playing Gamecube, or watching TV. THat is really the main reason my wife let me get him that for Christmas. She loves the fact that he is moving around and active (so much so that we don't stand within 5-7 feet of him while he is playing). In his mind he's playing games, in his mom's mind he is getting a little exercise. It is a win-win situation for both of them. And I win because after he plays, he falls asleep early and I ge tot play Zelda once he is in bed :)

I doubt they are lining up. I'd call your local store and ask them if they are still experiencing lines or if it has slowed down to the point that people are just showing up.
