Ok, I'm sure this has been posted in this thread, but c'mon it's pretty funny... PS3 vs. Wii Anywho, went to a gamestop again, but only because we ate at the mall...They said Sunday, they'll have some...I think they're hording them until then...
Almost all the stores have shipments coming in for Sunday. Gamestop near my work says they open at 10am but may open up earlier at other stores. They're not sure how many they will have. Target I hit last Sunday said they will definitely have some this Sunday and will start handing out tickets at 7am. They open at 8am. Just an FYI.
They had quite a few at the Target in Lake Charles last night. I'd assume if you call around, you can find one.
Hadn't checked Target in a few days. If worse comes to worse I'll make the 35 minute drive to Lake Charles and pick one up there. Thanks
TBA 2007. IIRC, Metroid Prime 3, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and Super Mario Galaxy are all scheduled for 2007; I think Nintendo is aiming to spread them out through the year. BTW, the Wii sold an additional 100K units in Japan during this past week (12/4-12/10) according to Famitsu (I usually use Media Create, but their numbers are out yet AFAIK). I think Wii Sports and Wii Play each sold an additional 70K units, while Zelda sold another 35K. Nintendo is also reporting that they sold 325K systems in 2 days after launching in Europe a couple of days ago. Zelda sold 240K, while Wii Play sold like 162.5K (50% of all users). The Wii is taking over the world.
THere is another Wii Sports besides the one that came with the system? If so, is it structured the same too? Like best out of 5 tennis where you have to be both the guy at the net and the one on the baseline (that is strange that they did that), or 9 holes of golf?
Because it is fake. A fan made that IIRC. It was posted around June IIRC, prior to Nintendo confirming what exactly was in Wii Sports.
For those of you looking for controllers, Targets seem to be getting a pretty steady supply. I just found nunchucks today and I had found wii remotes last week.
is the wii hard to find in houston? im heading back after having my head buried in books in FL for the past semester
I'm starting to think that the shortage is regional. My little brother lives in St. Paul, MN, and he said there were 9 in his local Best Buy the other day, and has seen them other places as well.
