With the fact that there is a top 10 listed when the votes are tallied, I would definately think you will see him in there. My guess is number 4 or 5 if the Rockets continue playing .700 ball the rest of the way.

kobe HAS to be the MVP this year. I love tmac, I love the rockets, and I hate the lakers. However, Kobe is the best player in the league, and consistently has been for the past few years. the mere fact that he has no MVP awards is simply appalling. he is going to be the mvp this year. I hope tmac gets it tho.

I agree with you. I don't see him finishing higher than 4 or 5 unless he just goes bananas scoring AND they keep winning. He's missed too much time this year, and Kobe has been lights out all year long.

As long as ESPN and ignorant, bandwagon sports writers live, Tmac's playoff record will never be ignored, and because of that, it is unlikely that he will ever win an MVP.

You are right. I actually think Lebron is hands down a much better overall basketball player than Kobe. Kobe is maybe a more versatile scorer and thats about it.

Anyways, Lakers is a much better team than Cleveland and that would tip the MVP to Kobe. Thats how Nash won the MVP trophy because Phoenix was blowing teams out of the water with him leading the way. Was he ever better than Kobe and Lebron? NAH.......

We would have to win 60 games for Tracy to have a chance to win it.

I hope that he could actually win it this year. He is the reason were on this winning streak. He's playing great basketball and helping out his teammates.

Kobe best in league? LBJ is averaging career highs in FG%, blocks, assists, and rebounds. The guy is freakishly good and even if the Cavs don't have a great regular season record I don't think anyone is saying Cavs can't be back in the Finals. If that's not MVP I don't know what is. But yeah, this is a Rockets forum, and McGrady has absolutely zero chance unless Rox play .900 ball the rest of the way

No way. McGrady will fizzle in a few weeks. Remember a few weeks ago when he was the problem. It won't be long

The MVP is Kobe. T-Mac isn't even on the list.

This is probably one of his worst year in the leagu stats wise... T-Mac shouldn`t be MVP when there are guys like Lebron and Kobe out there averaging insane numbers (espesially Lebron) and leading their teams to the playoffs. I guess it will be a close race between Kobe and Lebron, and Kobe winning it because he`s playing for the best team...

I don't know ...if the rockets keep going up the seeds and end up with #2 or #1.....Tmac could be considered to take it
