No problem. Good to see you Tmac lovers have lowered your expectations. A few months ago you were arguing that he would return to All Star form. At least now you consider him finishing out the season as a moral victory.
Pretty crazy to see what a guy with obviously about half the mobility of everyone else on the court can with just his natural playmaking ability and by playing intelligent basketball. But then again I guess we've seen Tim Duncan do it for years now lol.
He has been inconsistent but his passing has been incredible. In that last game he had at least 3 phenomenal dishes, ala JKidd.
LOL of course now you downgrade it so that you can say later on that it wasn't a big deal. Sure, Dave. Just come out and admit that you were wrong. And when did I ever say that T-Mac would return to all-star form? Now you're just stereotyping. That's bigoted, man. Come on.
This thread has become as predictable as Tmac's game. One good game, all the TOFs come out celebrating "TMAC IZ BACK!!!!!111!!!!ONE OMG LULZ WHERES ALL YOUR HATERZ" Then the next game tracy flops, and all the haters come out "I told you so TSlack is done he'll retire by the end of the season." 90 plus pages of back'n forth = awesome.
He had a great game for sure but he needs to show he can play well, consistently, as well as stay healthy and on the court.
If he plays at all. He might need to take a few weeks off to work with his trainer to strengthen it (again)
I wasn't clear. I didn't mean you in particular said that, I meant the Tmackers in general. And how am I wrong? I actually said he looked pretty good when he played his brief stint for Houston earlier this season. The reason I think he is done is because even after all of this he has proven that he still thinks it's about him AND that he can't play through discomfort. Nobody is going to want that on their roster. He's done son.
I have maintained that he won't make it past the half way mark of last season from day one. Now, I think he won't even make it that far. He would have to put together a 10+ stretch of impressive games without complaining about his knee before I believe otherwise.
only a superstar can do that bro. 10+ stretch of impressive games? lol. if tracy can end the year playing 30 mintues without complaining anymore about his knees or having to sit out, look for him to play very well next year. stats don't really mean much right now. if he feels well, he should play well.
since when does dominating the ball equal taking the most shots? CP, Nash, Williams all dominate the ball and are effective Tracy has to dominate the ball in order for him to be involved in the game mentally.
haha touche...it actually is pretty amazing when you watch the games where mcgrady feels good. hes clearly in slow motion compared to everyone else but still somehow gets his points, assists, and runs the offense. that being said, when hes not feeling well hes kinda just there...standing at the 3 point line.
