He plays for the Knicks... and D'Antoni... He isn't being asked to play defense. His offense, however, is inspiring. I am pleasantly surprised!
Tmac looks pretty darned good out there right now. At least on offense, on defense he is not doing anything he is just letting his guy blow by. But, when you consider he has been out for a yearish, he looks mighty good. 10 points and 4 assists in first quarter. DD
Dude, it's been what, a month and a half? Two months? He has had a lot more time to rehabilitate and recover and he looks a lot better than he did when he played those 8 games. Also he didn't fit our system at all.
T-Mac is sharp as ever on offense. His problem has always been a lack of intensity on defense, given his physical tools and how he's shown quite a few times how adept he is on that end of the floor. That said, I'm glad he's playing well. He looks great.
i'm not surprised...he just needed a chance this year, but didnt get it. I dont blame him for being upset with the organization, but at the same time, i dont blame the Rockets for waht they did either. Clearly, we needed to move on and begin a new era..
He looks like he's playing with fire and intensity, with a purpose. Something he never did the past year with the Rockets.
Even though D'Antoni isn't known for great defense I am pretty sure he still wants his guys to play some sort of D.
Nice job by T-Mac so far. He still looks kinda slow, and on offense he is still camping out and basically not moving at all... on defense he is just... there... not really doing anything. But his driving ability kinda surprised me. I didn`t expect him to be willing and able to do that like this anymore. But sooner than later he will probably rely on his jumper too much again.
10 pts, 4-4 FTs, 3 assists. not playing great defense, but his passes are on point, as usual. i wonder how much more we could've gotten had he played more than a couple games. oh well. In Morey We Trust.
