It can, but it has been more than that now. The mental aspect of coming back is as important as the physical. Tmac is one of the most mentally weak players I have ever seen, the guy is simply an excuse waiting to happen. DD
I'm not dissapointed with his performance so far, he's done good in his debut game, and the Wizards game too, he's slowly coming back, you can definately see he has something left, and I really hope he gets back to at least 75%
Why are you bashing the TOF? I wish him well, but it's hard for people who got tired of his antics (like me) to have fun if all the TOF went away with TMAC.
Does anybody seriously believe we would of gotten what we got at the trade deadline if T-mac was playing like he did now and ended up getting injured again?
Precisely. Adelman and Morey knew exactly what TMAC had left in the tank. I want him to do well, I really do, but if that means play one game and hobble through two, he can do that elsewhere.
Yeah, I think we would have......but no reason to let him show that he was not really healthy. Better to give them a little taste etc.....another great job by Morey and Rick. DD
I won't lie, I do find it funny that he demanded a trade because he didn't get minutes and now he gets minutes but can't/won't play them. It makes me look bad for trying to defend him. Question for you guys, would you rather have had T-Mac did what he did and demanded a trade or follow the coach's orders? If he went through with the coaches, there is a good chance we don't get Martin and possibly doesn't get traded. Maybe the whole fiasco was a blessing in disguise?
A lot of posters kept mentioning how the Rockets did TMAC wrong and that many FA won't come to Houston because of it. Well the rest of the leagues players can see with their own eyes that Rick/Morey and crew knew exactly what they were doing.
It is a mental problem. Bracey McLimpy can't wrap his feeble mind around the fact that it takes a lot more than a high school diploma to be a doctor, or even a trainer for that matter.
True, NY desperately needs that expiring contract, but why risk getting him injured and untradeable when we can just pass it off as a disagreement between management and player...
he clearly limped the whole year last year. he looked the best he ever did in the past 2 years just 2 games ago v. the wiz, movement-wise. so i think he'll be fine. the soreness is expected as he gets back into playing shape, and playing more. it's up to him to adjust, and he's not adjusting as well as i thought, esp. last night. it'll be up and down. but these last remaining games are for him to simply get back his playing rhythm and test himself a little bit. and we'll see that.
Speaking ad someone who hot tired of his antics after six years... Tracy McLazy is a washed-up has been... And potentially a Never-Was. I hope he gets his act together long enough for the knicks to ink him to a big contract and then craps out again. That way he will be a drag on someone else's payroll and salary cap.. Truly a huge disappointment.
He is now only screwing himself. Honestly I expect him to try to beast it up in the final 10 or so games....to get a contract, until then I expect him to coast a little. DD
No he didn't. There were some games where he actually looked like T-Mac. The one I remember the most was an early game in Phoenix where he played like a spring chicken and cut the Suns to pieces. So the remaining games on the schedule are NOT just about getting his rhythm. McGrady has to prove he will play in some pain and discomfort or else he's useless. His knee will bother him the remainder of this season and probably some of next season. He must get over sitting out or playing at half-speed when his knee bothers him. McGrady must act like he believes his own words from yesterday, "I can’t hurt anything". But as history shows us, much of what he publicly says is utterly worthless and he would do better to keep his mouth shut.
I lol at u man hahaha. U been wrong about stacy all year long just give it up and admit that your boy is washed up.
