Mcgrady is not moving at all out there. He is just standing at the 3 point line and doing nothing. Some one needs to tell him he cannot get into game shape without actually running around and doing something. Perimeter shooting wont do it for him. By the way, I am in the same camp as those who predict another injury for McGrady down the line. I really think the guy has been cursed with an extremely fragile body, and it would counter-intuitive to expect that to get better with age, surgeries and rehab. Wish for the best, but always expect the worst for McGrady.
But Martin looked like he was trying.. Something certainly has changed since the first half.. Tmac is hurting he doesn't even look like he want to be out there.. they are in the game only losing by 6 and he isnt even contesting shots anymore.. reality setting in?
Missed the first half, but McGrady doesn't seem very involved in the offense this third quarter. Very different from last game when McGrady had the ball in his hand most of the time he was on the court. And he isn't central to the offensive set, his tendency to stand around is showing.
Sergio Rodriguez looks like a career back up, at best, from the snippets I've seen of him over the past few years. I wouldn't be surprised to see him back overseas a la Navarro in the near future.
I would not be surprised if he aggravated something or if his muscles tightened up on him. Just another misery in the basketball life of the artist formerly know as T-Mac LOL!
Real test is tomorrow night. 2nd night of a back to back. I'm not watching (yet) but if he's "dead" tonight, he'll def be tomorrow. PS: Anyone have a link for the game? Thanks in advance.
I'm watching the game on my netbook laptop. It's terrible quality. I can't see the players faces, heck, I can't even see their numbers. I don't know who is who. But, I know when McGrady is on the court. He usually trails the ball after it comes past halfcourt and typically floats around the timeline for the rest of the possession. He's a shell not meant for an uptempo offense.
