too bad we could trade our clyde for their clyde as well.

resounding rebounding, exquisite pass with surgical precision

he averaged 7 fta in 06-07 so that was the last year he was healthy. he's feeling healthier now so he's willing to drive.

his unwillingness to drive consistently is when he gets nicked up and that fear returns.

Say what you will about his lackluster effort during the 82 game "regular" season, but he gave it his all during the playoffs and played with fire (no drooping eyelids), even though we always fell short ..........

He'll keep it up all year and sucker NY into giving him a contract. Then he'll go back to typical Tmac we saw over here his last few seasons.

or maybe his knee is finally healthy after going through microfracture surgery? maybe the reason he wasnt driving it in was because of the discomfort that he felt which the rockets organization insisted that HE DIDNT FEEL at all? maybe after going through the knife, whatever was bothering him on his knee was finally getting real results thus making him do what he did with the knicks yesterday...? ehh well i guess we will all know in the next few games... we shall see.. i wish him all the best though!

How in the world do people hate so bad on Tracy? Did he shoot a family member? The negative comments are absurd. The guy is on a new team, gave us jordan hill and two first rounders. It is obvious he should have gotten more minutes this year and I find it people hate on him when he was the sole reason our team ever got to game 7 against the Jazz and Mavericks. He brought excitement to the games for his years in Houston. Some people just need to let it go and move on. He played well tonight.

He is aweful! It feels like a cast member from "that 70's show" is doing the game...The guy's lingo is too throwback for his own good.

Our own Clyde is much more bearable, IMO...

Very impressive debut by McGrady last night -- he was much better than I expected.

I highly doubt that he is gonna come down. He has to prove himself all year to get resigned by the Knicks so I think we have seen the last of the lazy T-Mac.

he couldnt drive to the lane with yao in there...

he will be way more effective with a center like david lee who doesnt clog the paint

I'm more impressed that he led that scrub NYK team and should of won the game. McGrady can win you game in the regular seasons, but you will need more players to win in the playoffs. ;)

lol, anyone watch t-macs postgame interview? where he spent a good minute talking about Kevin Durant and whatnot and how durant reminds him of himself when he was younger.

I love how when he's talking to the media lately he basically says all he has to offer is veteran leadership and everyone around him are phenomenal players. I prefer the tracy that was a dbag and when he said he was one of the best and "it's on me"

I saw this coming all along

It's like people didn't realize he was playing injured last year, he played hurt and it wasn't even a contract year

Those highlights were not impressive from an skill/athleticism standpoint (a lot of lucky bounces/shots). He took the ball to the hole aggressively but I don't think he will finish those shots on most nights even if he continues to be that aggressive. Good effort on his part but I expect on most nights even if he plays this exact same way he will end up shooting more like 5 for 16 instead of 9 for 16.

Actually the reality is that he wants a new contract, so I do expect him to play well these last 28 games, it was NEVER about Tracy being done, it was about him not fitting in with the direction the Rockets were going.

His style doesn't fit.......so it was best for both him and the team that he got moved.

Now he can go to a team that he can showcase his individual talents and the Rockets got a more athletic, younger guy who fits in better with the team.

This is a win win for both parties.

No need to hang onto old stuff....win wins are good !!

I liked the post where someone compared Mr December playing for the Knicks to when Michael Jordan had won all those titles and all those MVP awards and a Gold Medal....and was then playing for the Wizards when he was about 57 years old.

You have to love those T Mac fans!

Yes,one can't expect more than that. He has lost explosiveness and can't play effortlessly anyone.
