Oh for ****'s sake. This is ONE game. And as for the Rockets being "vindictive pricks"...come on dude. McGrady to be effective means the ball needs to be in his hands in an iso formation. It just didn't work for this new style (circa 2009 Playoffs). I think you and anyone else who thinks that TMac is comparable to Ariza is extremely foolish and quick to judge.
Here's something I wrote about T-mac's debut on the knicks...I was just gonna write down a thought or two but it evolved into a mini article: OKC @ NYK Tmac is looking good in his Knicks debut. He's definitely in good shape and is playing with confidence. He's actually driving to the basket and drawing fouls, playing with a type of tenacity and effort that Rocket fans have not seen for 16 months. However, I don't think T-mac can sustain this type of effort and playing style. He'll eventually go back to avoiding contact and chucking long 2s and 3s. If there's anything that will keep Tracy McGrady as a starter in this league and save the remaining years of his career, it'll be his passing skills. Now that he's not a Rocket anymore, I can continue cheering for him. He's still more talented than 3/4ths of this league, with a smooth game that i can't help but admire. It was always only the mental and leadership part of McGrady's game that was a concern. If the Knicks really land Lebron somehow and re-sign T-mac, he won't have to be the leader anymore. It'll take a ton of mental pressure off T-mac, and he can finally focus on what he does best: playing basketball. I'm glad T-mac is on a team where he can play and the Rockets get a good SG that saves them from the horrid Battriza combination. Everyone's happy and can ride off into the sunset.
Every superstar dominates the ball. Ever watch lerbron, cp3, or wade. Even kobe dominates the ball a bunch and he plays in the triangle offense.
Really? Damn. Sorry, I didn't notice the title: "The Official T-Mac as a Knick Thread". My bad..... btw:
I wouldn't be shocked if Mcgrady is an all-star next year(earned). He's not exactly old and if he's in shape and injury free his SKILLS are better than 98% of the rest of the league. I love the trade because the rockets' were done with him, but I'll never understand why he wasn't given more of a chance this season. I wish him luck in the future.
I think your anger got your words wrong, you mean, There is a freaking Rockets game and you fake Rocket fans are watching the Knicks.
It's the most stupid decision I ever heard.... I asked before why not we trade TMAC only? People told me I am kidding and no team want Tmac. If NYC get a steal from this deal, It's absurd and ridicouls, becasue its NYC, Its Morey...
lol, you sure it's the offense? I think it's simply because it's easier to score in MSG, just look at Lebron, Kobe, Wade's stats when they visit The rim is actually 9.5 ft tall not 10 and they have air suction system to suck the ball in. No big deal. lol
