I wouldn't give him the ball either if I am trying to win the game and all he is doing is chucking up long bricks.

He was trash in the 4th quarter despite the revenge motivation.

Yup, the tank is pretty much empty.

Some of y'all are acting like depressed Xs. He's gone - just let it go. McGrady had a good game considering the circumstances but he couldn't close it out and the Rockets won.

If you actually read the thread it's not the "TOFs" that keep posting here; it's just Tinman and Co. Most of us have moved on.... why don't y'all move on also?

Because a lot of us were blasted by the T-bunnies who thought that management was screwing it up.

And now, that the truth is out there, they need to learn a hard lesson....or just leave.....either works.

Good to see McGrady back on the floor. And with 15 points and a Rockets win, I couldn't have ask for anything better. I'm not sure why anybody really are hating considering he did pretty good. Didn't have key points in the last minutes but tied the ball up with Martin in the last minutes, so that shows defense. Some people on this board are just petty. Good road win, still have a chance for playoffs, need to get ready for Chicago.

A lot of you were blasted? Lol - the ENTIRE board for the most part was supportive of moving McGrady (or holding him until the deadline). When anyone spoke up for him they were blasted for months prior to the trade. You're acting like everyone was supporting him and begging management not to trade him when it was basically just a minority opinion (and a minute minority at that). Basically - the guys who originally wanted McGrady out are crying "I told you so" like little children.

Do you even live in Houston Da? The city definitely does NOT hate McGrady the way clutchfans does. I have no idea how it got so bad on here - it's ludicrous that people actually hate him to this extent after last year. Especially after he busted his ass for Houston prior to shutting it down last season (Do you remember this board calling McGrady a warrior after the Jazz series in '07?). Some of y'all are acting like he killed a family member.

He was great when he was healthy (very rarely after his first season in Houston).... and now he's a broken down shadow in NY.

I'm waiting to see how this board will react to Yao if he comes back and can't perform.

Oh please. McGrady lost the fans in Houston from last year through this year by running his mouth. Listening to the sports talk on 610, 790, & 1560 over the last 18 months you can tell how the Houston fans have soured TMac.

Yeah, TOF blasted rockets management, and anyone else who supported the way Morey & Co. handled the situation.

LOL at Tracy fans always using this argument.

I guarantee that if t-mac had just kept his mouth shut, instead of claiming he was 100%, when he clearly wasn't, there would be A LOT less hate for the dude. He spews BS every time he opens his mouth. This is the difference between him and Yao.

If Yao conducts himself the same way t-mac did when he returns, you can bet your ass he'll receive the same amount of hate.

Listen to the fans at the games that McGrady played when he was back in uniform for Houston. Listen to the game today. Talk to the people on the streets.

    Those aren't boos you're hearing.

The media just manufactures drama. <- This is common sense.

Really? Find me the multitude of McGrady fans that blased management the month prior to his being shipped out. I'm not talking about the one delusional one that says "MCGRADY>>>>>>MJJJJ!!!!11!"

You think people won't bash Yao if he messes with the Rockets chemistry/he isn't dominating? You're out of your mind. EVERY time Yao was injured the past couple of years those ridiculous "the Rockets are better without Yao" threads would pop up along with people calling him overrated/trash.

It'll happen again. There's no question about that.

Oh, if he comes back and ****s everything up, he'll get bashed no doubt, but not for the same reasons T-mac was bashed for.

Tmac quit, so don't be shocked that fans quit on him too.

I am very happy Morey got talent out of that loser/quitter.

It's true. When he came out against Detroit there was tons of people giving him an standing ovation. And everybody wanted to see him play, because regardless of what happened last year people still felt that he could bring back a stream of what he once was. But I have to say McGrady and the organization handled the situation wrong. Both are at fault and today was McGrady meeting up with an ex(Rockets) only to see she is dating three guys.

This drama just doesn't seem to end. I'm not big on McGrady either, but its time to let it go, especially after this game.

    Um goofus...

He was in a Rockets uniform. Why would the fans boo him if he's playing for the home team??

If and When he plays here next year, the boos are going to be LOUD....

Not his fault? Team player? He was a dead man in the 4th quarter. He didn't want the ball after those 2 bricks. He just stood way out on the perimeter and made no attempt to do anything. When McGrady wants the ball, he gets it. "Not his fault they wouldn't give him the ball" is about the dumbest thing you could have said. By now, his new teammates know the difference between McGrady going 1/2 speed, full speed and no speed.
