Why do you think they're pissed off? The man took a gigantic piss on the organization, jerking it around worse than Brett Favre, and was dead set on continuing to do so until the front office finally yanked him out and sent him packing.

Believe me, had he gone to NY and put up even middling numbers (17-4-4 avg), both McGrady and his fans would be sticking it to the Houston Rockets at every given opportunity. Hell, McGrady was warming up his diss wagon while he was still on the roster.

Again, his injury and condition of his knee has never been the issue. No one (with a shred of decency) is cheering on a former star's physical deterioration. It's cheering on a motormouth that disrespected our home finally getting his yapper zipped up.

at least he got to the Superbowl.

    I'll take a declining Kobe

    any day of the week
    any minute of the hour
    any second of the minute

over ANY Tracy McGrady on ANY team on ANY time period

you know why? Cause Kobe and Tracy's approach to the game are completely different.

Give me the guy who is obsessed with winning over the guy who's obsessed with excuses any time.

so if you think Kobe is declining that's great
at least he's not gonna be reclining in his chair like Tmac during the playoffs

oh wow, you are really missing the point here. Can you please go back read my posts? I have NO intentions of comparing T-Mac to Kobe, because they aren't even close.(I think I've already said this 2 posts ago). All I said was that I feel sad to see great players decline, which includes Kobe.

Then you made the argument that Kobe is not in decline because he just won the Final's MVP. I then proved to you that he IS declining though he is still a great player. And now you are obsessed with comparing T-Mac's poor work ethic to Kobe's achievements.

People used to say TOF's are the worst because they are so trapped in their own little world. Now you've taken it to a whole new level. There's only 2 explanations for this:

    1) you failed English comprehension in grade 2 or
    2) T-Mac put your dad out of a job by making 23-mil this year, that's why you are so obsessed with bashing him

Tracy McGrady is a dead ringer for Kobe Bryant these days. They may as well be the same person.

you responded about Tmac like this:

    First of all,
Ben Wallace and Rasheed are ROLE PLAYERS

Shaq, Iverson, Duncan are former MVPs

Kidd, is actually turning into the brett favre of point guards

that leaves only Ray Allen and Carter that somewhat are comparable to Tmac

None of the above have a chance to win the MVP or come in the top 3 this year. except for "DECLINING" Kobe

Ben Wallace once led the league in defense. All NBA players are good, and to be able to excel in a league of so many good players, I consider those guys great. I am not comparing any of the guys I mentioned to T-Mac, I don't see where that is coming from. I just consider them all great players sometime in their career, and feel sad to see them decline. Seriously, what don't you get?

Marcus Camby was a great player, I hate to see him in decline too.

Dude, everyone played fantasy basketball back in the day.

but the real question is , is he a great player like Rasheed or Ben Wallace?

This is an example of not being a true Rockets fan:

I sleep so more peacefully now that Tracy is gone. I don't have to hear the things that come out of his mouth or his me-attitude. He could care less about anything other than himself.

You know what make me feel "old"? Having Tracy eat up so many of the Rockets years, with his crap.

It doesnt matter if it was fantasy or not fantasy, he was simply comparable to him back then. He is garbage currently right now.

He's playing with finger injury on shooting hand.
Before that, he was the leading scorer at one point, with 49%+ shooting %.

Most players will just shut it down. He can still find a way to contribute but he can't shoot as well, that's expected.

Unlike knee injuries that are somewhat permanent, finger injuries can heal in offseason.
