    True,

He had a very bad game.

He was low and high on his throws, and was simply not clutch at all.

Why the Eagles were not in hurry up mode down 10 with 5 minutes to go is incredible....just incredible.

    Well, incredibly stupid.

Horrible game management by the Eagles. Still can't figure out why McNabb was calling for huddles with under 3 minutes to go in the game. Even his center was waving for everyone to lineup up at scrimmage and he would call them back into the huddle. Ultimately time just ran out...

Hey, I don't know what causes picture posting privileges to get revoked, so I strayed towards the cautious side.

I'm still stunned about the clock management by McNabb ... just terrible leadership. He looked out of it. I mean the Patriots' defense is brutal so I can understand exhaustion if that was the case, but down the stretch I was blown away at the time McNabb was wasting.

I was kind of hopeful to see something exciting or some down-to-the-wire finish, but that ill-advised dump screen by McNabb, completing the pass to a receiver practically on the ground (keeping the clock running with no timeouts), all but killed it.

I thought McNabb sucked too... then I found out that he threw for over 350 yards-- fourth highest in SB history.

I missed it when they burned a timeout early, but it forced them to risk that onside kick.

WHY DO TEAMS WASTE THEIR TIMEOUTS WHEN IN IS 2ND AND 4 TO GO WITH 11 MINUTES LEFT IN THE THIRD PERIOD?

IT'S IDIOTIC... SAVE TIMEOUTS FOR SOMETHING IMPORTANT!

I think as long as you are not posting the actual images in this forum and you at least provide a warning...we'll be fine.

I've always been opposed to the actual posting of the images rather than a link... with a link, you have the option to click, with an imbedded image, boom, there it is, whether you want it or not....

you still probably wouldn't want to link to any NSFW images.

I was in complete shock the last 6 minutes of the game

I told my friend. . Andy Reed and McNabb must have known
something we didn't . .then they hit the touchdown

I guess they just wanted to cover the spread

Best commercial was the one where the guy says "You're Getting robbed" and then he gets maced, hit with the bat and tasered. Hilarious!

The Eagles had their wings clipped during crunch time.

why? at this point i accept it as standard operating procedure in football games. teams have absolutely no sense of urgency embedded in their brains from what i can tell. down 17 with 7 minutes? why hurry and go no huddle, waste the full play clock and work methodically down the field. down 10 with 5 minutes? same exact thing of course. and hey, if the defense is obviously giving you the short screens, take them, and make sure you stay in bounds. hurry up to the line after short completion in bounds? weak. that just shows your scared. this drive isn't important after all. it's just the Super Bowl.

work that clock until you've only got 40 seconds from your own 4. and hey, if you don't have any timeouts and a guy's open on the ground at the 4? throw it to him! and if you are that guy? catch it of course. you've just earned a receiving yard in the super bowl.

i really wanted to get mad at them, but i couldn't because i've simply come to understand that football players and football coaches, for all the complex language in play calling and different formations and huge playbooks, are quite simply the most moronic people in all of sports with no sense of game management whatsoever (except for the patriots). so no real reason to be stunned.

and BY FAR the best commercial was the very first. when the pilot just came flying through the plane and jumped out after the bud light everyone just busted out laughing. perfect commercial.

    1) With 1:56 down by only 3PTS with 2 TIME OUT left, The Eagles could have punted long instead of the onside kick. Used the timeouts and stop NE from getting a 1st down (which they did) but with :55sec left the Eagles would have been in alot better field position for a game tying FG.

    2) What da HELL was Freddie Mitchell doing celebrating his only catch at the end of the game down by 10pts with 2:55left. IDIOT!

My only problem with calling the Patriots a dynasty is the fact that for one year during their "dynastic" span, they didn't even make the playoffs.

Did anyone else notice McNabb was standing on the bench all by himself before Philadelphia's final drive? There's less than two minutes left in the game, and he's not talking to his linemen or receivers.

I would think that he'd have more than enough time to call his first 4 or 5 plays on the sidelines before going out there from his own 4 yard line. Instead he just sat there holding his nuts. Of course, he proceeds to throw an ill-advised pass to Westbrook. Astoundingly, the rest of the team waits for him to call the next play at the LOS, rather than running straight to their spot, ready for the spike or next play.

In general, the players were loafing around from between 5:30 left in the 4th all the way down to the 2 minute warning. No sense of urgency, guys walking back to the LOS, and of course the bizarre full huddles. I would be livid if I were a Philly fan.

I just got through watching the game on tape. A few observations:

-TO is a complete jerk and the Patriots clearly fed off of his little wing-flap gesture, but man he is a total badass out there. I could not respect him more after coming back with this performance after that kind of injury. Freddie "29 Catch" Mitchell, on the other hand, stepped up with one grab and one good block while Rodney Harrison dominated. Todd freaking Pinkston brought more to the game. McNabb was Steve Francis-esque out there. Great stats and moments of brilliance, but simply not enough when it counted. He looked weirdly listless at times, though the punishment he caught from the Pats surely had something to do with that.

-The Patriots have beat all comers at home and on the road. Hell yes they are a dynasty. They consistently make great coaching adjustments (after being stopped in the first quarter they moved the ball at will with screens and slants, for example) and rarely make dumb mistakes. They bring such hitting on *every* play. Did anyone feel they were going to actually lose this game after the end of the first half? Every time they needed a big play they stepped up. None of this is an accident. They are the best coached team I have ever seen and I will rate Brady, Vinitieri and those linebackers with any group.

For a team that had never done anything except lose NFC Championship Games (up until this season), the Eagles sure did talk a lot. I guess Chuck Bednarik was happy with the result from last night.
