**The Official Shane Battier as a Member of the Memphis Grizzlies...Again Thread**

This thread is about Shane Battier playing for the Memphis Grizzlies. With Tony Allen currently starting, along with OJ Mayo's return and once Rudy Gay comes back, where will Battier be on the depth chart...3rd string or 4th string? Although it would probably be to the detriment of the team, I'm sure he'll get mins before X. Henry. As long as Battier doesn't play a major role if the Griz make the playoffs, they have a chance to actually win a playoff game as opposed to all those years when Battier played a significant role with Memphis being swept every year in the post-season and having never won a playoff game in their entire history, but I guess they had intangibles. Or can Rudy Gay, Conley, and beast mode Z-Bo win the Griz some playoffs games in spite of the post-season Battier curse in Memphis. Now that would be a real tangible accomplishment.

 

Take your elementary +/- stats out of here, I watch the games, which you obviously don't. Z-BO, a player you love to hate on, was in his usual beast mode and he carried the team to victory just like he's done many times this season.

Also, please don't personalize things by throwing around cuss words and wondering about the origins of my moniker. Cussing is a sign of you being emotional, irrational, and unable to maintain your composure. And the reasoning behind my screen name is irrelevant.

 

No, you just tend to focus on the Battier related post because you're the one obsessed with him. It's great to see the Rockets' young talent get more playing opportunities now. I know it must have been very tough and sad for you when he was traded, because you always act primarily as more of a Battier-only fan than an actual Rockets fan. I hope your period of mourning is over.

I know you're still recovering from the pain you experienced when you received the fateful, yet inevitable news that Battier was being shipped out of Houston, but please don't derail this thread. I couldn't care less of what you think about my internet credibility. I'm sure the newest member of a Memphis Grizzlies message board is none other than RV6.

Maybe you should start a thread about the games Shane Battier actually provided tangible production. It won't be a very long one. In the meantime, feel free to talk about how valuable Battier is going to be as a 3rd string or possibly 4th string player in Memphis once Gay comes back. Please don't derail this thread.

Lol, and it's not as if Battier did anything to really contribute to the win either...It was all Z-Bo with the help of a few others. That's the problem with the Battier lovers, they'll do anything from looking to any stat or ignoring the stats and focusing on intangibles to try and demonstrate that he is a contributing force, but when all else fails they attack other posters in order to deflect attention away from the issue. They're an interesting bunch.

I didn't rush to do anything. I saw that there was a thread already created about AB as a Phoenix Sun so I decided to create this one. If I would not have done it, somebody else would have. All your other accusations are BS, because, as usual like your buddy larsv6 or larsv8 or whatever, you don't backup anything you say with evidence. This is my last response to your drivel.
