It's possible , likely even , that in 20 or 30 years Trump is seen as one of the worst presidents in US history .

Either that , or he's seen as one of the best .

I feel like there's no middle ground .

Probably either way he's the most outlandish and one of the biggest liars.

Overall he either represents a massive change in the culture of US politics going forward or is seen as a black eye

I think the one of the biggest things about Trump is seeing the double standard that is applied to him . It is mind boggling . I wonder who is next to get that treatment? Will there even be a politican who can get away with as much ?

I mean , when he said (to the affect of ) his first 6 months being the most successful in US history... I mean come on !

If anyone before him , from either party , had said that and not cured cancer or solved hunger etc ... They would rightfully have been ridiculed and their power would have suffered. Instead , no one bats an eye. Is it because he says and does so much other **** ?

Is this a legitimate political strategy going forward ?

Is Trump on the verge of inciting civil war ?

I did not feel that way during his first term. I honestly feel that way now .

Conservatives and Republicans can blame the liberal media for taking things out of context and misrepresenting the situation... But the mass deployment of ICE , the air of unquestionable authority, and the lack of an opposition party in power .... Have made this situation very bleak IMO

When you push people too far they can get desperate.

And despite what Trump may say , certainly the truth on the ground is that his policies are not making America great . Gas is not 2 dollars. And many people feel and fear that they are on the verge of having our democracy replaced with an oligarchy / authoritarian regime....

And even if that fear is not reality... The fact that he is continuously pushing in that direction and is not seeking to unify , will take people to their breaking point

 

He'll be seen as the best. He's a true leader, and even in cases where he stands alone versus the hostile media, hostile intel agencies, hostile lawfare campaigns, he never backs down. He fights. And he's almost always proven right. Impeachments, attempts to take all his money, attempts to imprison him for life, two assassination attempts -- the man has fought for this country and simply does not show fear. His accomplishments (whether you like them or not) have been huge and numerous. I've never seen anything like it. Truly the most influential person of our time.
