I was proudly never on the hype train... this guy is a bonafide scrub and what's worse, he thinks he's hot ****. He's exactly the type of player I don't want on the team. We need guys willing to work hard, take their job seriously and be in shape and have an attitude that understands they need to get better.
1st pick talent. Jabari/Sengun/Tari even can’t get the treatment as Nix. If they play not good on court, Silas will bench them right away. It won’t happen on Nix.
Nix really remind me of those folks in a workplace that gets promotes just by kissing @$$. JC gets sent down to g league while we watch this man gets heavy mins refusing to hustle. I seen older vets dive for balls or make an attempt to prevent it from bouncing out. Man has no sense of urgency.
I think Silas has a mission and the development of Nix make mission less noticeable. The worst thing that could happen is for our second string point guard out play our starting point. With Nix this will never happen. everyone states we have 4 rookies from last year, we’ve got 5 with Nix.
I think he might be the only NBA player I can beat 1 on 1. I am 35, 5'7 and 170 pounds. Yeah, I am sure I can beat him.

Sure, decent handle but it's not the best on the team. Can't use it to get himself open though. Doesn't use it to set up other players. Pounding rock, being too afraid to shoot and passing it off doesn't make you a point guard. You're not going to like this but it's Porter. He might be a score first guard. He might miss open guys. He might not be the future point guard or the goat. But he sets up shots for others with regularity and scores using his skills. Nix isn't even remotely close to the same caliber as Porter and people dump on Porter. Daishen Nix is not a point guard. And if he is, he's fkng bad at it. Barely better than Mathews and that's the lowest bar there is. Also it's hard to get me to say wow that's a bad tattoo but who starts with their neck?

He has a TS% of 47% and has the highest turnover % on the team...by a lot. You could learn to tolerate inefficiency if one were making things happen otherwise, but the dude is averaging 8 and 6 per 36. His stats are every bit as awful as the eye test suggests. Genuinely see nothing to like about him.
I would play this guy 30 minutes a night. Best thing to get us that top 5 pick. I am dead serious. People are crazy thinking we need to make all these changes to help us lose out on what is shaping up to be one of the greatest draft lottery's in a very long time.
