You have no reason to be confident in him in a playoff situation. He was awful last year in the Utah series. However, I don't think we are nearly as dependent on his offense now that Rafer is hitting Js and now that we've added Jackson.

I'm not a huge fan of Head, but I honestly do think he is a better offensive player than Wells....Someone was going to have to lose minutes once mcgrady came back and I think Head is a better option.

So basically we're getting Bobby Jackson who has proven he can show up for a playoff series in case Head disappears. I don't think Bonzi will be missed. Landry will get more minutes and provide the toughness inside that Bonzi brought this season.

Bonzi gets most of his points off aggressive rebounding and put backs. These are high percentage shots and free points. Yes Luther is more versatile in that he can drive and what not.....BUT all of his shots are either shots, driving jumpers, or layups in traffic. There is a reason Bonzi averages more points then him.

BECAUSE LUTHER DOESN'T TAKE A HIGH % shot. its not his fault he doesn't have the largeness of bonzi to do that but, bonzi is a comodity.

Bonzi needs to stop taking jumpers and start putting the putbacks in

Mike James is finished with his NBA career. He totally sucks. He will get bought out to make room for roster space and then nobody will ever pick him up again.

A lot of things can be said of the Mike James situation in Houston...
but to suggest that he did not get an opportunity is ...absurd.

Landry cannot do 1 on 1 as Bonzi did

Interesting that the fan's take on Mike James' exit from Houston is quite similar to that of his exit from Minnesota and Toronto before that.

Where's SamFisher? In all his wisdom and smugness, didn't he claim Mike James would run Alston right out of the organization?

Stating my opinion that Mike James has been and still is a better player than Bobby Jackson can easily be argued. Mike is younger and has better career numbers. Not to mention, he doesn't possess the durability of a tampon the way Bobby Jax does.

Insigificant though, since what's done is done. As I have admitted before, Mike was terrible this year. A trade that results in both parties moving in a different direction makes sense in this case. It doesn't necessarily mean Mike is a BAD player but rather he simply wasn't a good fit for this coach and style of play.

Besides, it's not like we had to pry Bobby Jax away from New Orleans. Pargo is better than him and i'm sure New Orleans was happy to move on. This trade has the "garbage for garbage" label despite us throwing a valuable piece like Bonzi in there.
