J Green is still a rook. Long way to go, but I imagine his shot chart will look a hell of a lot better in the 4th quarter of his 3rd season.
When he plays direct, KPjr looks the goods. When he goes to too many hesitation dribbles in a row, he gets out of rhythm.
Great game tonight Scoot! Highlights below. When his 3 pointer is falling, his confidence surges and he’s a force. You can see it growing. When he doesn’t have it going, he gets frustrated and gets in his own head. Love to see him just focus on attacking more like he did tonight. Not settling. Theoretically sharing the ball a little bit more, playing off the ball early in possessions, and then catching it in attack mode should unlock his game even more. He’s a scorer that can pass.
Somebody get Kysre Gondrezick season tickets. She made this man cut his signature hair style off and made him look like a superstar tonight when she came to the game. She has mind control over young Scoot.
I’m surprised to see only 36% yes given that he’s improved more than any single player on the roster this year, as well as given the available alternatives on the roster. Months ago I would have said no to this poll, but the talent, the improvement, the upward trajectory is obvious at such a young age. I still don’t know if he’s a point guard, but he’s turning into a good basketball player, and capable of playing 3 positions.
Maybe its bc he is a left but I can see him modeling his game after harden. He is not going to be as strong as harden but he can compensate for some of that by being more athletic. He has shown the ability to hit step backs, the next step will be driving and drawing contact to get to the line. If he can develop that then defenders will have to be less aggressive against him
