Been wanting Keith Jones to get fired for awhile now. Missing MRI's and saying to just play through it is ridiculous. Yao's broken foot went unnoticed until it was too late. McGrady's knee even last year was unnoticed until they finally did an MRI, which McGrady had wanted for the first 20 or so games he didn't get it. I know we got guys who are soft but when your doctor says to just play through it and doesn't get you an MRI when you request it, then its just plain neglect.

It took a completely different doctor to fix McGrady's back, and he followed the Suns logic of looking at the whole body instead of the specific part of the body that was in pain. It was the arch of his foot that was causing all the trouble and McGrady's been fine ever since.

Hasn't McGrady been ignoring doctors' advice this season? Seems like I heard that... but sure, it's the trainers' fault.

I mean wow, just wow. I have only waken up and I am shocked...

so all those report were just FALSE? They just said TMac was out for the season and it is not true? It is UNBALIVABLE.

But still, a phenomenal news for Houston!

Agree 100%....the team physician and orthopaedist should be blamed.....Keith Jones is responsible for rehabbing the players and should have some blame not all

if you really think that it is good news that McGrady is out for the season then maybe you need to go back 2 sleep :D . Its funny how it doesn't say he is out for the season on every other sports channel or website. Even the chron doesnt have it up

    Why?

Because of all the injuries every year. Who really knows what he does for this team, and what the medical staff does?

He may be some of the cause, but why should he take the hit for all the injuries?

Who has ever have to deal with a player as big and athletic as Yao? No one. And it's not his fault Tracy is a worn down player... what year is he on now? 11th or 12th year in the league. I don't know. He had to carry Orlando on his back for a couple years too, but that wasn't his fault. At the time Grant Hill was having his own personal injury problems. It's just a matter of time for a player to be hurt either in a minor or major way. It's going to come, this is professional sports.

The only thing I would change is the way the injuries were dealt with this year. If Tracy wasn't ready to play, then he shouldn't be trying to be a hero and play. He should of just sat and got in to shape during practice and outside of the games. Why rush back? We have a good bench, they should of used it more.

I'm not one to be calling for people jobs. Just saying.

Agreed, he needs to get a better "Phantom Injury Protection" program.
