I highly suggest that Rockets fans submit their issues with officiating by submitting complaints to the NBA league office. The link to the form can be found here: http://www.nba.com/email_us/contact_us.html Again, not whining about the loss, but I’m upset that a playoff intensity game was wasted because of the whistles. Very boring to watch that type of b-ball!
These huge ass guys should be ****ing ashamed of themselves when they fall around and cry like little girls. How can you not be embarassed?
I agree with other previous posters, Pryzbilla is tailor made to be a Jazz player. Hopefully the nba will outlaw flopping, calling technical fouls on any player, especially large players, that fall down trying to draw a foul. Its really a plague on the league that must be addressed.
Unfortunately, you might be right. I really wish Scola would stop his flopping as well. At least Scola doesn't talk sh*& and flop!
I'm trying to be un-biased (for I know Scola does his share of flopping), but there's no way he flops more the Joel.
No, he doesn't. There are games when Scola flops a lot, same for Battier, but Sisszilla flops every single game 5 or 6 times. Roy does too whenever his shot is contested he just crumples to the floor. But the thing of Jizzilla is that he talks smack and then flops. Many NBA players have laughed at his antics and sissy play.
he definitely does. i've watched portland a lot this year and in general joel's flopping is nothing like the complaints here would make it seem. he does however flop more often than he normally would when he's going up against a huge center like yao. just seems crazy to me for people to be complaining so much about a guy flopping when those same people would likely defend players on "their" team for doing the same.
I understand what you're saying, and it is possible that most times he doesn't flop a lot, but alls I see is when he plays us. When he does he flops several times each game. Scola does flop, but no where near as much. Also Scola doesn't talk big and try to intimidate and pound on you just to flail to the ground the moment you touch him. That's only Flopzilla. Everyone in the league flops, but there are some who go above and beyond.
Scola: I fall hard after you push me. <--------professional flopper. Przybilla: I fall hard before you push me. <---amateur flopper, classless cheater.
I heard great thing about rocket fans, but the more i see stupid threads like this the less credible you are. Yes, Prizbilla has been know to flop but what about Scola or Battier? What about Yeo locking Greg Odens arm? not only was that sad but he could have hurt him. What about shane falling down after his missed three pointer acting like roy knoked him over? Brandon Roy being a flopper? NO Game one there was a thread here about how portland wasn't happy with the efficiating and how we should stop complaining. So what happens after game two? Houston complains about the efficiating. There was alot of no call against Yao and the rest of Houston especially late in the game, so yea Houston got some bad calls but so did Portland. Did you guy fail to see Roy getting raked by Yeo late in the game or the fact that just about everyone of our players were in foul trouble?
Next time he fronts Yao, Yao should just elbow him in the back of the head give him something to flop about. Rocket Tar clearly the difference between Scola flopping and Prizbilla flopping is Scola is a Rocket and Prizbilla is a (insert favorite expletive here)
I've said Battier and Scola are floppers. But Joel Przybilla acts like a tough guy beating, pounding, and throwing shoulders and elbows, but if you touch him he's on the ground. Scola usually flops in scambles for the ball and Battier usually flops when he's trying to draw a charge. Neither of them talk smack to whoever they're guarding as I've seen Przybilla do time and again. Oh, and Yao is hooked almost every time down the hook. LOL look at the point where Oden was fronting and was literally hugging...err...holding Yao. Crap like that happens all the time. Watch every time his jumper is contested or his layup doesn't go in. He's on the ground. Very much like that Battier flop you are referring to. He does it quite often. Regardless my point was that I don't hate him for flopping because he doesn't talk tough and beat on his opponent physically then do it when they respond. He just plays. That's why we dislike Przybilla so much. Most people, myself included, don't blame the refs. We missed our free throws, our fault. However we wish we could have had that last play back when we got burned on that phantom call on Lowry. Crawford was expecting a foul, though one was never commited. He just fell. Oh, and y'all lost by 30. We lost by 4. I admitted game 1 was called in our favor but said complaing about it was pointless since the margin was so huge. Game 2 was called evenly bad (horrible officiating all nights for both teams) but in the last 4 minutes terrible call after terible call were made for the Blazers. I'm not gonna bother enumerating them. There were a couple no calls on Yao. I concede that. However most of the fouls that were called were BS. So swap them and we're even. Though I think you should understand something. If a player driving runs into big and he jumps straight up and down, even if there is major contact, there is no foul. That is usually what happens as Yao isn't quick enough to move over if he's not in position anyways. Look I don't care about Game 2. Y'all won. Roy and Aldridge went nuts. Kudos to them. But Przybilla is a dirty player who sets illegal screens, holds players, pounds on you, then flops the moment you respond. THAT is why we hate him. Or..at least strongly dislike his game. I'm sure he's a nice guy
Flopping is always gonna be part of the game, unfortunately. It's not so much the flopping that is the problem, it was the critical point in the game that Pryzbilla's flop was called. Fans are fans, dude. We will always complain about something.
Question....Is it standard protocol in Portland to use the letter "e" when you’re unsure which vowel to use? M'e'ybe you can't re'e'd or write, but just about every thread on ClutchFanes has mentioned that we did not lose the game because of the 'e'fficiating. However, the game was indeed poorly 'e'fficiated by blowing so many whistles. Once you finish grade school come back and add some intellect. Many people hated the calls that went to Houston, just because we wanted some fluidness to the game. Good luck and let’s hope we never see Joe Crawf’e’rd again!
