What a amazing finish!!! I thought the Dynamo will get another blown lead wasted but they finally finish it off. Let's hope they can keep playing consistently and build a winning streak.

I don't follow Mexican soccer, but if Monterrey is so good they don't need Ellis....Wow.

    Rumor alert: http://www.espn.com/soccer/soccer-t...-proceed-without-chicago-fire-present-sources

I'm surprised that L.A. or the Miami expansion team are not his top options. Both are also warm-weather towns.

Ellis came to us on loan from them and then we acquired him permanently this offseason for an unspecified figure.

I agree. I want them to spend and I want them to get someone who is a draw. I don't want another Demarcus Beasley...a player that is clearly done and does little to ignite some excitement about the team.

Did I mention that he is done as a player?

I know...I guess I didn't understand the point you're trying to make. Are you saying Monterrey is dumb for having let him go or vice versa? I don't follow the Mexican league at all so I don't know if they're good or not. I do believe Elis will likely move on to Europe at some point in the next year.

I would think almost any team could use him. 2 million (the figure I read) seemed cheap, Ellis is a stud by MLS standards.

At least he's still somewhat productive. Anyone wanting Fernando Torres on the Dynamo hasn't watched the game for at least 5 years. That dude is finished. Plus, I'd go to watch Rooney if DCU were coming here this year (they're not). I wouldn't pay to see Torres.

I would have locked up 2 years of season tickets if the Dynamo convinced Iniesta to come but who the hell am I kidding.

Man he would've been perfect here, too. We haven't had even a remotely threatening center mid since Stuart Holden.

The Dynamo goal sees more action in stoppage time than the complete filmography of Michael Bay.

I play/played center defense. I would resign if I gave up as many last minute goals as the Dynamo have the past few seasons. Absolutely pathetic. On a set piece too. It's just a complete lack of heart and hustle.

This team is cursed when they're on the road. Its been going on and on for the past 8 years and counting.

At least it's not on the level of 90s Oilers epic playoff failures but these lost/dropped points from the earlier road games this season is gonna cost them a playoff spot if they don't get some road wins. The Dynamo need 3 points on some road games, not just 1 point.
