What an opening night in Arco. Happy for their fans. And Chuckwagon. :)

Is it just me or has Cousins really changed since Chuck got there?

If Chuck plays well for the Kings it's a bonus. I honestly believe his greatest contribution will be his influence on Cousins.

We shall see... it was one game.

I will say this, last season if he had a crappy game as far as fouls and such are concerned he wouldn't have been as active at the end of the game as he was tonight. At least that was my perception from the games of theirs I watched last season

You guys obviously never saw last season. Cousins plays hard every single play. It's his attitude and maturity that was the issue. I fully expect him to grow in those areas and I loved what I saw tonight.

Messy game but the Kings did what they had to do. Very impressive with all of the young talent they have. If they can keep all of those pieces together, they'll do some great things.

The one impression I had is that Cousins has quit sulking as much. Maybe he just grew up over the summer, but I think it's mostly the work of Chuck "The Super Nanny" Hayes.

Every game I've seen him in foul trouble he seems questionable. He plays hard when things are going well.

But I admit, I didn't watch him that much.

That was my observation too, but I didn't watch every game either. :)

It's not Chuck (at least yet). Cousins had already acknowledged his issues last year and was looking to get his act together.

Give him a few more games.

Off to a good start. Thats what a couple of high draft selections can do for you.

First off, thanks for making this thread. :)

Kings should trade Evans now and build around Cousins. It is one of those very difficult decisions to make, because he is a talented scorer, but Cousins is potentially a very special player. It's much like Francis and Yao.
