Just as we saw with tracking flights in college football, the Instagram story with Parker amounts to nothing.
That was the Texans Storm Report post right? Pretty lame for him to delete it. These “insiders” don’t know anything.
https://www.houstonchronicle.com/sp...de-Dolphins-Seahawks-Eagles-Jets-14396505.php Authorization was granted by the Texans for Clowney to meet with Miami Dolphins coach Brian Flores, but he is reluctant to play for a team he doesn't view as a contender after playing for an AFC South championship team last season that went 11-5. Although the Dolphins are regarded widely in NFL circles as a frontrunner to land Clowney with Miami general manager Chris Grier talking with him weeks ago in advance of his visit last weekend, should he agree to report and sign his $15.967 million tender, they're not the only viable destination. The Texans have worked the phones and have reached out to multiple teams about a potential trade for the former top overall pick from South Carolina, including two of his preferred teams: the Seattle Seahawks and Philadelphia Eagles, according to league sources not authorized to speak publicly. Other NFL teams the Texans are known to have spoken with, per sources, include Washington and the New York Jets. Nothing has advanced with any of those teams, though. Washington is regarded as a no-go at this time and they are unwilling to trade Pro Bowl left tackle Trent Williams. Clowney is not in a rush to sign his tender or hire a new agent. He is being pursued by several of the top agents in the industry. Clowney is open to the prospect of not signing an agent at this time and representing himself. Clowney is upset that the Texans placed him on the trading block. And Clowney is even willing to not sign his tender and miss regular-season games, at a cost of a $939,235 game check per week.
Clowney is such a clown man. He's a clown, and the Texans front office is a circus. Just poorly handled by both sides.
You know... for all the talk about what clowns the Texans are and how they'll inevitably screw this up....... If their target is Laremy Tunsil (or someone of that ilk)... I mean......... He's not only really good but EXACTLY what they need and a guy that is probably worth moving on from Clowney for. Leveraging Clowney to land a LT is, I'm sorry: it's smart. Less smart if the idea just occurred to them - but smart, nonetheless. But if they can't land a really good, young LT.... bring him in and let him play out the year.
Latest on Jadeveon Clowney trade front: Texans focused on getting this Dolphins assethttps://t.co/ojT93VzENy — Armando Salguero (@ArmandoSalguero) August 29, 2019
BoB made a good trade in getting Duke Johnson. He is about to make another in getting Tunsil. You have to look at it like this. Losing Clowney gets you a third. Giving the Dolphins a first round pick is essentially sending the Dolphins a first and third for a future All-Pro LT. That would be a hell of a get for that price.
It’s not wishful thinking. It’s realistic. The Dolphins insiders have been reporting for weeks that they would part with him if the price is right.
They better not trade away a 1st and Clowney for Tunsil. This team is not that good and it could end up being a top 10 pick.
