Juventus Lose. And Rangers come back to tie . Barca was playing to tentative until they hit their stride. That shouldn't have been a red card for del horno.

Messi may well be the best under 20 years old soccer player in the world.

I had the Barca game on but missed the red card. What did del Horno do?

He tackled Messi in the first half and the guy went down like he had been shot by Lee Harvey Oswald from the Texas School Book Depository, wh rolled around in agony, then miraculously was fine as soon as the red card came out.

It should've been a yellow for a stupid tackle without an attempt at the ball - the red was too much, IMO. I think the red was a make-up call for the challenge where Del Horno slammed his cleates into Messi's leg

To be honest, it was a pretty bad body block, but Messi did make the most of it after he was on the ground. It should have been a yellow, but not a red.

ESPN is pissing me off. They are not showing the Champions League matches live tomorrow and Wednesday. Instead they are airing them tape delayed later at night around 11:30 PM. This really blows and is really sad to see Poker and women's basketball have higher priority over the champions league elimination round!

In their defense, they're showing the World Baseball Classic live instead. It sucks, but ESPN knows that more people will watch baseball than soccer.

Yeah, I went back and checked it again this morning and it looks like they're showing baseball. Oh well, I won't be home to watch the match anyways, so I'll just catch it 2night.

I just hope they do NOT screw around with the World Cup b/c then it would be on!

They won't, ABC, ESPN and ESPN2 are airing every match from the World Cup, so of course some will be tape delayed, but you can guarantee every US match will be live,

So it looks like Chelsea's out of Europe this year. Juventus is in trouble, and Villarreal's just got to hang on for a few minutes.

Juve just scored a late goal that looks like it's going to put them through.

Are they? I thought they were behind on away goals?

EDIT: never mind, I forgot where they were playing

The Barca game was not very exciting because Barca completely took Chelsea out of the game. They just could never get anything going. It was worth it just to see Ronaldinho though...WOW! The guy makes everything look so easy. His movements and skill with the ball are like magic.

I kind of hope arsenal moves on b/c Real just doesn't seem to play with any fire or flare. With all those international superstars they have on their team, they should be playing beautiful futbol and scoring in droves, not tanking it! I wanna see Henry move on, dude is amazing as well.

I have never laughed this hard on a soccer game when FCB knocked Chelsea out yesterday...

Even though I never really cared about inter-continental leagues like Champs League or UEFA Cup, but nonetheless it was very satisfying to see my one of my hated teams in EPL (along with Man U) getting their asses kicked by my favorite team in La Liga...

Right now I am anxiously waiting for Arsenal, the team I cheer for in EPL, to send Real Madrid packing...

At halftime, you can basically stick a fork in PSV, who are down to 10 men and need three goals, and Liverpool, who also need three goals. Bayern and Real are both in trouble, but need just a goal to stay alive (a goal sents Real-Arsenal to ET).

Henry reminds me of T-mac. He is Mr Smooth and he makes football look easy. That chance when he took on 4 Real players deserved a goal.
