Anyone else have a feeling like they just watched a replay of the FA Cup final last year?

OMG  It's just not meant to be for Villareal. Even though I think he's the biggest Hot Dog of any goalkeeper anywhere on the planet you have to give it up for Lehmann. Not only does he make a HUGE save, his clean sheets in the CL give him top keeper status in the world. Now let's see how he follows up Kahn's MVP play in the WC.

It was a nice save, but it was a rather poor attempt by Riquelme.

well, to be fair the shooter often tries to wait until the keeper has committed in a game of football chicken. lehman held his line so i think you have to give credit where credit is due.

arsenal is in the champions league finals! woo hoo.

    Another Arsenal victory...

Wow what an ubelievably frustrating stat line.

    Villarreal Arsenal
    Shots 13(5) 5(1)
    Time of Possession 62% 38%

    Villarreal 0 - 0 Arsenal
    Juan Riquelme (pen miss 90)

    Agg: 0 - 1

Exactly why I compared it to last year's FA Cup final.

No doubt, I'll give you props, Arsenal have the ability to win matches even when they've been outplayed on the pitch. However, I will give you a little bit of warning, if you play like you did today in the final, I don't think you'll be able to come away with the cup against Barca.

    A gritty defensive display. :)

I agree. If Milan can't sit back and win there's no way we can. But that's ok because I'd rather see us take it to Barca anyway. If we're going to win it all we need wins like this along the way, but against Barca we really should win it the way we normally play with flowing football.

i think ac milan has what it takes to come back and win and then avenge their loss in the final last year and go all the way

why does espn show one of the semi finals and not the other? that's stupid. they're showing the national jump rope championships on espn2 instead of barca/milan.

blah screw ESPN2, I always watch it streaming on ESPN Asia anyway - more authentic.
