Well I think that's the route they may go, I believe it was @heypartner who notice a comment from Melos trainer about him working on pick and roll because that's what the vision is for him.

Literally, the #1 play that Ariza and Ryno with Harden is the high, Pick and Pop. Rudy T was first coach to run this, and MDA has mentioned as one of his most important play ... using the Stretch 4 in high PnP. Rudy called it 24-high, and others dubbed it Fist-Up Houston to honor the first who used a stretch-4 this way. The extra advantage Melo brings to this play that Ariza and Ryno couldn't do is his ability to ISO on switches and drive on traps/hedges that recover too fast for Ariza and Ryno. This will be run in heavy doses. I can't be more confident of a playbook prediction than this play. The trainer actually confirmed by saying they are practicing Melo in Pick and Pop, ala Fist-Up Houston at three range. I further suspect Paul will do it in Midrange under certain defensive conditions.
