I’m not calling scoreboard after 2 games but I thought he was going to beast in Dallas this year and looks like that is probably going to happen.

He always seemed like a really good player who needs the right players/infrastructure around him to keep his knucklehead tendencies at bay. He looked great with Harden and in that post-Harden stretch where we looked like a play-in team until he got hurt and then everything bottomed out.

Good for him I guess but it’s been two games and he’s going to want starter minutes at some point

Yah this was obvious and you saw that here with harden. Problem with him in Houston post harden is that he thought he could do it all on his own and he can't lift a team on his own. With Luka he makes a really good number 2

Wood playing well again. 13 points in the 1st half.

Can't you just be happy that your favourite player is on your favourite team now? Everyone here knows you are a Mavs fan.

    P.S.: Wood still sucks.

I don’t really mind. It’s better for everyone, but the return we got for him was a joke.

Yeah, I know. But what do you really do when your best player is not good enough to build a franchise around? Wood is an excellent "second banana" player, I thought he’d shine next to Doncic and get his max, and it seems like I may be be right. It’s just, what do you do with him on a team where he’s your best player?

I would fire the coach and get a coach who can better utilize him and extend him to a reasonable contract.

I've said all along, the Rockets should have WAITED until they hired a REAL coach before they decided what to do about C. Wood. You never get rid of a player avg a double double.

The way C. Wood is playing and the way Silas is still coaching.....I THINK I WAS RIGHT.

Wood is a scorer and he guards the perimeter well but the post.

Lol at the last sentence. Silas would never blast somebody like that.

    AND THAT'S THE PROBLEM....SILAS DOESN'T BLAST ANYBODY.

Last game, Silas should have IMMEDIATELY taken Nix out of the game when he didnt hustle back to get the ball, to send a message. Coaches need to call players out when they are slacking or messing up.

I guarantee you C. Wood would start doing better the next time he gets a chance to close out a game.....KIDD IS TRYING TO PUSH HIM

He's doing what he does best, which is score. He needs a COACH LIKE KIDD TO PUSH HIM. I'm curious to see how he's going to develop in Dallas and look at the end the season.
