DAMN!!!! Now that's a starting five. They might be a little too old, but the East is going to be a stroll in the park........they are going to play a battered team from the West. I did not realize that there were so many LBJ lovers there were on this board...I do think that trade helped the Cavs but he is still overrated.Fortunately for him, he is in the east. We will find out that yao has healed ahead of schedule and can play basketball again a few days after our elimination from the playoffs.
Spurs win the whole thing. Celtics don't even make the EC finals. Nugs miss playoffs. Nuggets4 drinks heavily to make up for Nugs missing playoffs. -Pistons make it to the Finals over Boston (Amir Johnson and Jason Maxiell go off in the series and eat Kendrick Perkins alive) -Rockets matchup with either Jazz Mavs or Suns in first round, we win -Spurs vs Lakers and TD distributes facials of justice on Pau "softie" Gasol and Andrew "too good to be true 21 year old superstar center" Bynum. Lamar Odom once again loses all confidence in himself and becomes a non-factor. Kobe is left as the teams only reliable scorer against the imposing defensive front line of TD and KT, then Bowen pulls some dirtyness and Kobe + Bowen get suspended for 2 games. -Spurs v Pistons in the finals going to 7 games, Pistons win, it is of course an even year Maybe Spurs will have better luck in 09 (not likely)
