I don't think anyone should or can debate who has had the more successful career so far but both AB and Dragon have hit a wall this season in part because of injuries and bad play. To be perfectly honest, Dragon does almost everything better then AB EXCEPT score the ball. Goran plays better defense, rebounds, attacks the basket and distributes while AB is more explosive so each will thrive in their new role.
Didn't know where else to put this, but for some reason I got interested to see how AB did pre-injury this year. I know we started 0-5 (with the 5th game being AB's unfortunate ankle sprain), but I was just curious how he stacked up against himself from his MIP season the year before: Per Game: 18.4 PPG, 2.2 RPG, 5.4 APG, .8 SPG, 2.4 TOPG, 2.25 A/TO on 43.3 FG%, 39.3 3PT%, and 92.9 FT% in 29.7 MPG. Comparing this per game to his MIP year: 19.6 PPG, 2.6 RPG, 5.3 APG, .8 SPG, 2.8 TOPG, 1.89 A/TO on 43.2 FG%, 39.8 3PT%, and 82.2 FT% in 35.6 MPG. He was actually playing at about the same level in 5 less minutes per game as his MIP season. It's too bad we didn't get to see him at that level all season, and it was definitely time to move on, but he was a special player and I think Rockets fans should acknowledge that Manu incident as a definite turning point in his Houston career.
Only rocket jersey I have is a Aaron Brooks jersey. Now I gotta investment in a player who is going to with us for a while... Scola?!?!
Considering how quickly our roster changes yearly.. it's hard to guess who will stay here long. Safest bet has to be: Miller, I doubt anyone want to take him. Even though, just saw this on nba.com "if you're going to miss in the NBA, miss big, and Thabeet is still 7-foot-2, last time I checked). But they didn't move Brad Miller for Zaza Pachulia, as was strongly rumored, and decided to hold onto Courtney Lee instead of taking an offer from the Bulls." Without any doubt, Luis is the safest. Martin comes second. Lowry comes third.
back to back OT games for the the sun, for our sake i really want phx to make the playoffs because we dont want orlando's pick. i feel like rox + phoenix pick could be used to move up in the draft, for once.
