I'm pretty sure the ipod thing was a subplot that they couldn't completely remove. It'll probably show up in the deleted scenes on nbc.com

jaime pressly saying whatever she said with about 5 beeps in a row and then earl looking deep into her eyes and saying that line was just epic. i don't know how they ever made it through taping those lines without just cracking up. it almost felt like "Earl" cheated b/c it's so easy to make a show about them being degenerates and he didn't do anything on his list, but it had me rolling the whole time. Office was great, too. man i love nbc thursday's and i'm glad they put all 4 of their good comedies in a row on one night.
I can't see the Dwight character leaving permanently. I see him hanging around like the boss did in the British version. At least I hope.
Yeah that's what my sister was telling me. You can't cut a character like him out for good. I've never seen the British version though, so don't know how they did it.
He'll be back. Dwight is so pivotal for much of the humor on the show. There's no way it can be this good without him.
