The office does come back next week. It'll be a one-hour christmas themed episode, which should be good since last year's christmas ep was one of the best of the series.
Can you say instant classic. That episode had equal parts of humor and sweetness and that trademark awkwardness. I probably laughed harder when Michael marked that girl than anything else in a long time. And the entire cast seemed to get involved and have their moments. Just a great ep.
this episode was classic. had practically everything that makes the office great rolled into one show. look alive halpert.
and you know...all waitresses look alike. in the span of about six weeks i've gone from having seen about 1 total episode of the show during it's entire run to becoming a devoted fan. strange enough it was the repeat of "gay witch hunt" that sucked me in. i didn't see any of the first few episodes from this season and didn't know it was the season premiere that everyone was talking about when i saw it, but it was so great i had to start watching weekly. now with earl, office, and scrubs, i feel like nbc thursday is back. not nearly the ratings it used to get, but in terms of enjoyment for me. plus, i've even started to watch 30 rock and think it's funny as well. strange enough, the only show i don't watch is ER, which was my favorite show on TV for about 5 years running back in the 90s.
did anyone else notice the waitresses michael and andy brought to the office weren't the same actresses as the ones in the restaurant? thought it was kind of ironic, given the whole 'cant tell them apart' bit. im guessing they busted a marta from arrested development because the other actresses weren't available.
yeah, i saw that, when they showed up in the office, i was like, "wow she looks a hell of a lot uglier with the hair down...waitasecond..." and then in AD, the first Marta actress was hawt...the second, not so much Although I think it might have been intentional for the office. oh yeah, and the song that Creed was singing was one of his own, I thought that was a pretty cool throwback to the actor.
This was the first episode that has made me laugh out loud in some time. But I've been in a mood recently where I will laugh at weird stuff. My favorite part was when Stanley got up to decide which party he was going to...his facial expressions are hilarious...
I liked when Toby ran into Kevin in the kitchen and gave him a pat on the back. Then he rubbed his hand on his back checking out what type of material it was. The look on Kevin's face was priceless.
"Asian Hooters" So who was on the other end of the phone when Michael got someone to go to Jamaica with him? Jan?
