Dude we think alike, i was going to come into this thread saying "Threesome" and then say that Michael's ring tone was the funniest part.
The intro was simply hilarious, even if the rest of the show was used to set up the rest of the season.
I laughed the hardest at Dwight's "Hum De Dum De Dum" when he was role playing the guy they were going to ambush.
I like how when he answered the questions about why the branch would be closing, he gave very realistic and understandable answers. Something like "the idea of a regionally based paper supply company doesn't make sense in this modern market" or something.
Dwight was on fire last night. Future Dwight, the role-playing scene, and the dashboard confession scene were all well played. And in the producer's cut, there was a very short, subtle talking head with Ryan, that acknowledged that he doesn't know why he's with Kelly, but that there's still something there. I also found the whole Stanley and Phyliss tree analogy to be pure genius. Most of the ep was setup, but it still had it's moments. Looking forward to the rest of the season.
This is mostly random jibber jabber, but the last 30-45 seconds are awesome.. I suggest you get to that (it's John Krasinski and Rainn Wilson on Ellen DeGeneres..I think from June of this year) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oR7Vt-IYJbU&mode=related&search= <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/oR7Vt-IYJbU"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/oR7Vt-IYJbU" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
2 questions: 1. What was his ringtone this time? 2. Previous episode: What song did Jim and Tuna Guy sing drunk?
They could easily get rid of all the characters except Michael and Dwight and I would still love this show. Those two together are better than Batman and Robin. What a team. I'm almost dreading the sappy Jim/Pam (JAM) reunion this week. I'm a man. I don't need that crap bogging down my sitcom because they need women to watch the show.
Ok, finally saw this..This was pretty funny...Michael with his "My Humps" ring tone...Interesting how Jim comes back with the new girl...Not sure how this will all work, given the love triangle aspect...I like the supersized episode coming this week...Ryan stays with his girl...LOL...
Just a reminder for everybody, tonight NBC is doing three "Supersized" episodes for their thursday comedies. So the Office will actually start about 40 minutes past the hour. So don't freakout if you tune in at 8:30 (or whenever Houston usually gets the show) and find My Name is Earl. The Office will just be on a little latter than usual. But it'll be an extra long episode, at about 40 minutes with commercials just like last season's finale Casino Night.
I'm getting sick of seeing all of these fluff promos for the new episode tonight. Can't wait for the Merger. I hear Andy is going to put the moves on Pam. This should be good.
good episode tonight; kind of like bizarro world from Seinfeld. I know it's a tv show..but what company would be stupid enough to keep Michael on as regional manager...I guess that's what makes it all the more funny. And you know what I'd like to see...since Jim is number 2 next episode he should reclaim his desk from Ryan, put him in his place; but he's probably too nice for that.
Michael and Andy are two peas in a pod. Andy has come in and stole Dwight's teacher's pet relationship with Michael, and now he's flirting with Angela. Poor Dwight. I'm glad they didn't make this episode all about JAM, and kept it as a sub-plot. "Can't we all just get along? Have we already forgot the words of the great Reverend King?"
