What did you guys think? That was just strange. In fact that was the most bizarre episode to date. Certainly took a controversial issue ad put it on its head. I'm still amazed after seeing that.
What I dont understand is how the hell Michael is still the manager? It was OK I guess. I laughed out loud a couple of times. Jim should be back soon to Stranton. The British version is still the best.
First time I'd seen it, and I don't think I laughed at all. I'm pretty bummed b/c I need something funny after the demise of Arrested Development
This definitely wasn't one of the better ones. Watch some of the season 1/early season 2 episodes before all the sexual tension kicked in.
The episode I think is called "Gay Witch Hunt"..I tivo'd it and will watch later tonight...I wonder how it picks up from the kiss...
I really enjoyed it -- I really like how they handled the Jim and Pam thing. I also really enjoyed Jim's new office -- hilarious . . . Big Tuna
Much like Earl, it was a good episode but not one of the best. I'm just glad they're both back. I loved how it ended though.
It was just okay, and I was a little disappointed. Hopefully, they'll pick up and get better as the season goes on.
Wow, tough crowd here. I thought this was on par with some of the best episodes of Season 2. I laughed out loud at least a dozen times. And plotwise, they did a great job setting up all kinds of potential storylines for Season 3(branches merging, Jim-Pam-Roy love triangle).
Started out very, very strong 3/4 of the way. But the end "meeting" seemed very forced and I quit laughing. It was very ambitious and still great. Maybe I will like that part more on the second viewing etc. I'm sure it will rock on.
i liked it but if this was the absolute first episode of the office i'd seen, i wouldn't get it at all and would probably hate it. start at season one, this series is the best thing on television. as for the episode itself, it felt like a drama, but they had things to tie up which is understandable. there was some great stuff though, the gaydar at the end, big tuna, etc. now that they got that stuff out of the way the rest of the season should be great.
it was a good episode. not the worst one by any means. i say Jim goes back to the Scranton office by episode 5.
I think the Stamford and Scranton offices will merge at some point, which is how they'll get everyone back together again.
I plan on giving it another shot but I've got to find Arrested Development season 2 before buying The Office... I have 1 and 3, and I must see the episode where Buster looses his hand.
dont even get me started on AD; it will never be repeated, nothing will come close. I feel honored to have seen that show. Give the office some time; it does a great job of minor-character development. In tonights ep, when Michael is trying to kiss Oscar, you see Kelly - Mindy Kaling - clasping her hands in a "how romantic" way; her sacharrine romanticism is a really subtle and hilarious thread throught the show. the little character things are actually better than Arrested Development, if not as absurdly intelligently heartlessly funny as AD. Also, do some research on "Creed" if you have a second - actual former guitar player for middling 60's band called the Grass Roots. He plays a former guitar player for the middling 60s band The Grass Roots. He is hilarious. So is Stanley. Michael: "What does this look like to you?!" Stanley: "Mail Boxes Etcetera."
