Finally watched the first two eps on DVR. This used to be my favorite TV sitcom by far but I didn't laugh once at either episode. Lo, how the mighty have fallen.
I don't want to be one of those "I love hating The Office" guys, but I agree. I laughed when Michael flipped Toby off, but the whole Dwight and the mall storyline was just pointless and weird. I loved the cold opening of the 1st episode (gotta love Michael's magic act) but the rest of it was just eh....
I liked tonight's episode. I missed the first couple of minutes of it and it seemed like a very slow start. But halway through it really picked up. It wasn't particularly a funny episode, but it was really "heart felt". Spoiler I busted out laughing when eveything started going wrong during Andy's play. Great job by Angela for not putting up. That'll make dwight come back for more for sure.
I thought tonight's episode was weak. I keep noticing more and more stalling moments. I missed the very beginning (before the music) and the very end. I am still in love with this show though.
The only thing i laughed at tonight was Creed's remark " Dont mess with him, i just saw him kill people" (or something along those lines) when the plumber playing sweeney confronted michael about the booing.
Right! The whole sequence of the phone going off, the bottle rolling down the floor, the balloons popping, and CeeCee crying was well done. And Angela looked hot when she changed. I could relate to how Dwight felt. haha
Angela looked hot. Michael doing an episode of Law and Order by himself is pretty funny.....best episode so far.
Ditto. The bottle rolling part was just as funny as Michael dragging the wheelchair down the aisle in season 3.
I literally watched 1 second of it and decided that I would rather be responsible for the deaths of a thousand Ozark orphans than subject myself to the painful atrocity that was unfolding before my horrified retinas.
Um... this episode was actually... great? Like... one of the best of the last few seasons. I thought The Office was done, but I laughed out loud a ton in this episode. Sweet.
