I enjoyed the clip show more than I thought I was going to, me and the wife were cracking up quite a bit throughout.
i thought it was really boring. Not BAD because the clips are funny and all...but not good. Probably because I've seen enough of The Office for these not to be "reminders" of things I forgot about. I mean, they air reruns on 2 different channels all week.. I could see it being interesting if not for that and the DVDs.
I love The Office, but right now Parks and Recreations is wiping the floor with them. Last night's show was great. Ron Swanson makes the show. Last night with his devil eggs, answering his interrogation entirely in question form, lol good stuff.
I barfed during the Jim & Pam song montage (and to be fair I enjoyed their coupledom from season 1 - the beginning of 4. just sick of them) I hate clip shows. Dwight as the robot was hilarious. I wish the episode had really been about the premise, which was Michael trying to show everyone off in the office as cool and hip and efficient.
i actually wouldn't have minded it if the end of their wedding episode wasn't somewhat in clip format already.. and if i didn't JUST see that rerun last week.
As long as they don't do another clip show for a very long time, I can accept last night. Some parts were very good. But no more clip shows for a couple of years (if the show lasts that long). Regarding P&R, last season was so bad I don't know why they decided to bring it back. But I'm glad they did.
P&R was epic last night. Aziz wiki'ing India just so Justin would like him, and also eating the Pepper "This is how we do ittttt" ****ing hilarious.
the episode was somewhat of a letdown for me because I was excited to see a new episode. I did like computitron, but the Lady Gaga thing seemed out of place to me. I wasn't expecting them to crack on someone like that. People who liked the clip show- was it because you havent seen those episodes in a long time and it brought back good memories?
LoL at the clip show. I will keep watching, but reading the comments of hulu, most people weren't happy with it. I enjoyed it, especially the "Thats what she said" bit
That was a pretty disappointing episode. Don't get me wrong, many of the flashbacks they showed were favorite moments of mine but it wasn't a good episode overall - the one before it was much better.
In terms of consistency (which I think the show does a pretty decent job on), what the hell was an Investment Banker going through warehouse inventory? It made no sense to me that an IBanker would meet with firm's warehouse and HR division. If anything, he should've met with Oscar/Angela to financially evaluate the Scranton branch... weird...
You would go through the warehouse to make sure what you're buying actually exists - it would suck for him to buy a warehouse full of paper, only to find out the inventory was out of date and out of stock.
The Office, for the most part, is just not entertaining to me. I can watch an episode here or there, but would rather poke my eyes out than watch consecutive episodes. It must have the kind of humor I can't get into. Like British humor.
