Just rewatched the season premiere and wasn't sure if it was mentioned but does anyone else think Spoiler that Angela might be pregnant? She said her doctor wanted her to gain weight and then when they were on the scale and Andy screamed that he wanted names when he found out the group gained 5 pounds, the camera focuses on Angela. Maybe there's a baby Dwight coming...?
* The Office * (TV-14) * Thu 10/09, 8:00 pm — 8:31 pm <- Thank you, U-Verse, for making sure the entire thing records *local channel 2 NBCDTV, 2.1 HD, U-Verse 1002 KPRCHD, 2 KPRC Holly holds an ethics seminar in response to Ryan's scandal at corporate, but the meeting gets out of hand when Michael encourages everyone to be honest about their unethical acts; Jim forces Dwight to comply with the "time theft" policy. Heads up, you big queens... Heads up, mah nurrrrrdddssss... Heads up, GodZillaries... vanity plate WLHUNG asking ya'll... Guess who hasn't appeared since last season? THIS GUY...
Since kxan and time warner in austin are being a-holes.. i can only watch the office online.. so is this episode up yet on any channel.. or do I have to wait until tomorrow to watch it on nbc.com?
I totally agree. For some reason this season's start seem a bit more fresh than season 4. I'm sure it is because of the addition of Holy. She is a great character. Her interaction with Michael is just hilarious (i.e. the scene in the Restuarant). IMO, the Office as a whole is starting to become kind of stale compared to the first 3 seasons. The only parts that I still find laugh out loud funny are the meetings in the conference room (i.e. the Ethics and Obesity meetings) and also the out of the Office scenes (like the Restuarant and the club scene from last season). But most of the other stuff that happens in the office (like Dwight and Angela) is getting old. Still my favorite show on tv though.
Ya I'm not feeling the whole Dwight/Angela thing... Anyways the Jim & Dwight thing was just LOL funney! I thought the episode was great and can't wait tell next thursday to see what else they come up w/
I thought it was an okay episode, Il rewatch it later, when I saw it last night I was trying to pay attention and do homework at the same time. Am I the only one who like hour long episodes over thirty minutes? Sucks having to wait a week for only thirty minutes...
i thought last nights episode was funny especially the part where jim was talking to Andy about "battlestar galactica" right in front of dwight. but the my favorite part was when andy dropped his ethic bomb on the crowd and dwight goes into how its a trick question....classic i thought the first two episodes to this season started off well...better than last season like some here have said i think another why i liked this episode was that there was less pam/jim stuff
So far I've enjoyed the references to past seasons.. "Beer me a high five" (I think it was high five) "Bears, beets, battlestar galactica" (battlestar galactica coming up this wk) Little Drummer Boy Among many other things...just triggering memories of old eps and referencing them very well.
Michael: Holly-lujah, it's a miracle you're at your desk. Holly: It's Mike-raculous. Michael: Hoo-hoo, reaching, you'll get there. ____________ Michael: I just don't want my employees thinking that their jobs depend on performance. ____________ Andy: Yeah I took Intro to Philosophy, twice, it's no big deal. Dwight: Actually it's a trick question, the bread is poisoned. Also, it's not your family, you've been cuckolded by a stronger smarter male. Did you guys see when Angela looks at the camera after Dwight says that? It's almost like she's saying "I can't believe I'm picking one of these two."
have you ever had sirloin steak, honey? and jim not getting any work done while tracking dwight and then deciding it was so exhausting he'd also need to go home early was great.
