I wonder if the new supervisor is gonna screw up the whole working environment in the office to the point that A) everyone wants to leave or B) sales drop suddenly ...which would lead to the company asking Michael back perhaps. There's just no way this can continue long term because the actual office is no longer funny...with a serious supervisor. And I seem to remember way back in season one, Jim saying something along the lines of "if I'm still here in 10 years shoot me." Quite a contrast to the present Jim.
i hate that black guy, he is a ****ing douche. I really enjoyed the episode tonight. I expected Pam to be the one to leave, this is a nice change imo.
I didn't even watch it, I have never been able to get into that kind of show. I prefer the subtleties of the Office, King of the Hill or Curb Your Enthusiasm. The Office is the only comedy program on the 3 major networks I even watch
i'd argue that 30 rock is much more subtle than the office. tonight's 30 rock was one of its funniest ever. i'm lizzing.
You are not alone in believing this (language NSFW) Spoiler <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/YrSy9r0-lMg&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/YrSy9r0-lMg&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Oh yeah, Larry Gilliand/Gilliard or something. Lots of character actor roles. Other than as D'Angelo Barksdale (above), I tend to remember him "Franklin from Peanuts" of Gangs of New York.
Uh, shouldn't you 30 Rockers start a 30 Rock thread? Every week The Office gets compared to that show...they're totally different. Is it just because they're both on NBC back to back?
