No, it's definitely not crap, but you gotta remember that movies like Shakespeare in Love, American Beauty, Chicago, and Crash won Best Picture Oscars. Some liked 'em, many hated 'em. That being said, The Office and 30 Rock are funny in their own ways. 30 Rock gets the more immediate laughs, The Office is the one you can watch multiple times. Just watched the UK version of The Office Season 1. Geez, Ricky Gervais is even more cringe-inducing than Carrell- the head-butt with the new female employee was hilarious.
American Beauty won the big ones in '99, did it not? Picture, Actor, Cinematography, Director, and Screenply
The retracting p***s comment made me spit out my drink. Also liked the beginning. Middle was a little slow.
I have tried to watch 30 Rock cause a lot of people and this thread recommend it to me, but I just don't care for it for the most part. I just like the Office more
that was a really good episode. Its one of those episodes that get even better with repeated viewings, like the Moroccan Christmas one.
i dont see why there needs to be a 30 rock and the office arguements both are great shows in their own rights and way. i love both shows. Kevin was gold last night: I said oh the Eagles won the NFC EAST!. Then she said "We're Done" Are you on email?

I love it David: "Congratulations, Dwight." Dwight: "David..........you're welcome." Paybacks are hell.
most fun I've had all week. Thank you for that episode, complete with a "that's what she said" just made the full cycle. I slow-mo'd Michael's faces after David Wallace's visit.
That one sequence alone made the show. Rainn Wilson put on his twitter yesterday that Idris Elba (the guy who played Stringer Bell in The Wire) was going to join the cast of the office. I wonder when those episodes will start. Also it will be weird seeing him do a comedy.
