Wasn't the best but hardly horrible either. The golf cart thing nearly had me spit up my drink. Pam was awesome in this episode, esp. when she gets the single sheet of paper from the copier and shows it to the camera, just something about it cracked me up.
So, I guess next season Pam will be out of the office living in Philly more likely NYC working god knows where while taking her adult education classes and Jim will be against it and stays behind but eventually starts working towards taking Ryan's job so that he can move to NYC and reunite with her. Just started watching the deleted scenes: http://www.nbc.com/The_Office/ EDIT: Looks like only one deleted scene, nothing special, then it kicked into last weeks.
Got all the DVDs, watched every deleted scene from all seasons, and saw every episode this season so far. Yes, sucked and "the writers should be ashamed" is definitely extreme. It's like saying "Rafer Alston sucks"- sure, it's one's opinion, but it's a little over-the-top, don't you think?
Without reading the rest of this thread, I think all of the new episodes are wayy too awkward. It gets to the point where I can't even look at my tv anymore. They used to be funny awkward, now it's just sad awkward.
Wow, you guys are the ones overreacting. Faos is correct, it was a weak episode, but Its still a great show and I'll continue to eagerly anticipate every episode.
You know, even a weak episode of The Office is still better than a lot of the best episodes of many other shows. It doesn't have to be hysterically funny every week, as long as the characters are compelling I'll continue to watch.
I enjoyed the ep, but I'm getting a little tired of Andy being made the office whipping boy...some of it seems more slapsticky than what I think of when I think of The Office.
Agreed on that point...I just like him when he's really lame and douchey, as opposed to bleeding out of different body parts or flying off of golf carts. (which I'll admit, did garner a laugh from me) They're actually starting to make me feel bad for his character, as he's getting shat on week after week.
I agree. I'd have Jim and Pam split up for good. More Dwight and Angela. More Michael goofiness. More Andy. Bring back Karen and have her become the office slut. I could also doing a better job writing your posts if you wish. All I'm saying, IN MY OPINION, this was the worst episode since the strike and maybe for the season. The writers should be ashamed. They mailed it in.
