A lot of businesses started stockpiling after the election in anticipation of tariffs, which means the full effects of tariffs are not immediate. As the stockpiles run out, the effects will become more apparent. With something that changes on personal whims this quickly, tomorrow's economy is not going to be well-reflected in last month's or last quarter's numbers. Here's where we are headed:
i can see another TACO move coming from the Tangerine Musolini after several days of negotiating with the Chinese trade reps in Sweden, Bessent Says Officials Will Brief Trump Wednesday on China Tariff Pause https://www.business-standard.com/w...ter-stockholm-trade-talks-125072901800_1.html China and the United States have agreed to maintain their current tariffs on each other, according to a report by The Associated Press. The announcement came after a two-day meeting between Chinese and American representatives in Stockholm.
The only tax increase and stimulus check a democrat doesn't like is one from a Republican. Further evidence Democrats are only interested in buying votes.
, attributable to this recent developmentment A Hong Kong conglomerate that had agreed to sell its two ports at the Panama Canal said Monday it may seek a Chinese investorvto join a consortium of buyers, a move that could please Beijing but bring more U.S. scrutiny to the geopolitically fraught deal. CK Hutchison Holdings’ initial plan to sell port assets in dozens of countries to a group that includes U.S. investment firm BlackRock Inc. pleased U.S. President Donald Trump, who has alleged that China interferes with the critical shipping lane’s operations in Panama. However, the deal apparently angered Beijing and drew a review by Chinese anti-monopoly authorities.
Certainly, the "news" that Deutsche Bank stated publicly is laughably wrong, whether or nor DB as an institution has a history of being reputable. MSM has been filled with stories this year about businesses going under since they could not pay the tariff at the border and since their product was being sold at low margins and could not take a price bump caused by tariffs.
The Stimulus started under Trump? You don't seem too concerned about the 6-8 TRILLION that Trump's new law is about to create in DEBT. Hmmm...Biden and Obama's NECESSARY spending COMBINED does not even come close to equaling the 12-14 TRILLION in DEBT that Trump will leave by the time he leaves office. Biden and Obama are about HALF of Trump's Debt.
I support the Tariff Dividend Rebate. Structure it such: Oct 2025, bottom 1/3 gets a $700 stimmy. Nov 2025, bottom 1/3 and 2/3 get a $700 stimmy. In December, everyone gets a $800 stimmy. If you voted for Trump, you get an addition 25%.
I love how you maga cultists always give Trump credit for something he hasn’t even done yet, won’t ever do, but because he talked about it… he gets credit. Also this rebate idea is an admission of overstepping in his consumer tax. Also is a way to help the morbidly wealthy avoid taxes by using this tariff path. Your evangelizing of Trumpism is pathetic
Anyone want to take bets on space ghosts posts after the ghislaine Maxwell pardon? My guess is he just gets sloppy and doesn’t shut up about the hunter Biden pardon. Any other guesses on how he serves up pro Trump propaganda after he pardons a convicted sex trafficker??
nobody has been paying attention because everybody figured out Libertarians were totally full of **** when the Republican party established a fascist dictatorship aligned with tech companies and other oligarchs to literally destroy America and they all gleefully took part or vanished into the bushes like Homer Simpson. Pretty much knew you guys always sucked & were full of ****, and am now unhappy to report, CAN CONFIRM.
