These kids need to stop playing. Be a man and make your own decision. Well... I can't say any of these guys will man up but I'm just saying make a decision!

T-Mac(before breaking down) + Yao(prime) + Brooks/Landry/Scola/Lowry/Battier/Ariza/CBud = Championship contender. It's not T-Mac's fault Carroll Dawson couldn't identify talent to save his life.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Morey knows a lot more basketball than you do. And his actions pretty much contradict your thoughts fully.

This whole thing is sickening. I don't care what Bosh does. Is he really that great? Bring in Jefferson and Miller, otherwise, we will play with the cards we have.

I do not understand this board's infatuation with Chris Bosh. He is a soft, light weight, big man. His saving grace is that the league nowadays as a whole is soft when it comes to big men. That is still not enough to compensate the fact that he is not someone you can build your franchise around.

Will he make the Rockets better? Sure. But not enough for everyone here to go gaga goo over him.

I hate when people try and generalize players with tired basketball cliches

    batman
    franchise player
    robin
    soft
    undersized
    blah blah blah

People are going gaga over him because he is literally the perfect final piece for what we are building here. The synergy aspect alone of what he would bring to this team is mindboggling. His skill set is non existant for someone with his agility/size.

I agree! All of this have made these guys look like unprofessional jack-asses! All of these "STARS" and only 1 ring amongst them, yet they strut around as if the invented the damn game. Enough with the damn conference calls and caravans just pick a team and get ready for the next season!

and I'm going to go out on a limb and say brooks is a deal breaker, so pray and hope bosh is coming, and cry about it when signs with someone else. I'll be more than happy to still have ab and scola. And not putting our future in this attention whores hands.

what is that sayin dakota says? You don't rob peter to pay paul? Brooks is going no where.

To those saying that Bosh is not much of an upgrade from Scola:

    Are you serious?

Before I share my thoughts, let me just say that I love this team and everything that the players encompass. The hard work, the humility, the dedication, the professionalism, all of it.

That being said, Bosh is a major upgrade from Scola (who is the consumate Rocket, along with SB). Yes, Scola works very hard. "Ees a big game foh ahs" seems like it penetrates every interview Scola has agreed to. It doesn't seem like he ever loses his passion for the game. But the same thing can be said about every player in the league. Not surprisingly, talent will not get you to the top alone. Hard work is a big factor in determining success, and the fact that they (anyone) is at that level shows just how hard working and talented they are.

However, at this level, since hard work is so unanimous, talent is what really differentiates players and places them on a tier system. I love Scola, but there is no question that Bosh is more talented. That is what got him on the All-Star team; that is what is getting him all this hype.

With all of that being said, let me share my thoughts on what may or may not happen. I think Houston has a good chance at landing Bosh (and frankly, this would be the best scenario for him, getting the most money and being on a great team). Does that mean he will come here? I don't know, and perhaps he doesn't know himself. Would I be sad if he decided against joining us? Most certainly, but it would'nt surprise me though.

I realize that this next part may be a moot point if Bosh decides against Houston. However, let's just assume Bosh does want to come to Houston and asks Toronto to negotiate a S&T with us. It seems that the biggest names in the various scenarios are AB and Scola. It might seem counter-intuitive since they play the same position, but I would rather keep Scola, given that I had to choose between either AB or Scola to be sent to Canada. I would be a bit sour over losing either, but if gets us CB then I'll live. We may be one of the hardest working teams in the league, but Bosh has the talent to put us in a great position to compete with the Lakers (or anyone else).

Lastly, if I offended anyone, I'm sorry, it wasn't my intention to do so. In addition, if there are some grammatical inconsistencies in this post, please forgive me; I'm posting from my iPhone because I can't fall asleep.

Great post. I agree with everything you said. I would actually rather give up Scola for Bosh over Brooks because Bosh and Scola play the same position and we have PP and Jordan Hill to sorta fill the void over there. Furthermore, having perimeter shooting threats and someone who can consistently create offense for himself and spread the floor would be a huge asset with Bosh and Yao down low

If we could trade for Orlando T-Mac, I would do it in a heartbeat. At that time he was at the same level Dwayne Wade is right now.

No, I dont want bosh. He pads his stats on a team that didnt make the playoffs in the east...last years rockets would have been fighting for home court were they in the eastern conference.

Im happy about what we have right now and I trust Daryl.
    over.

Wade and Bosh must be special friends. Their friendship is worth more than 30 million dollars. Not since John Amechi has there been so much man love and affection in the NBA.

The NBA: Where caring and loving happens.

    except TMac got no heart.

If Yao had Wade, he'd pass the 1st round long long time ago.
