Dude, my logic is sound. That's why every GM in the league would happily offer D Wade the max. Plus, Mcgrady wasn't as efficient as Wade even in his scoring champ years. Wade shot at 47 % clip and averaged 2 stls, 1 block per game.

Please refrain from using LMAO in any rebuttal. It doesn't exactly help your argument. Melo has had some maturity issues but he gets it done on the court. He is one of the best scorers in the league.

We are talking about individuals. Why do you keep bringing up team accomplishments? Dirk is very efficient and rebounds well. He has never had another good big man to play next to. What has Kobe accomplished without an elite big man? Nada.

Amir freakin Johnson just got like 7M a year. 8 to 10 M for Roy who is already a 2 time all-star? Wow, just wow

At the end of the day, all we can rely on are stats. Our GM feels the same way and makes calculated decisions based on stats. We will agree to disagree but your opinion sucks. Chris Paul & Deron Williams are the best point guards in the league. By your logic, Stockton, Isiah Thomas, Kidd & Gary Payton should have never gotten paid.

Huh? Didn't you bring up reading comprehension? I said that if Howard had a great post-up game, he would be just like Dream. It had nothing to do with Scola.

Bc you have tried to examine and find flaws in all of the mentioned players. Some of them which aren't solely on them like the team's success.

Of course, he is a want. We want a parade. Not to be merely a second round threat.

We know as much about a player such as Bosh, as Morey does. He's a player a lot of people get to watch. There really isn't much that Morey could know about Bosh (the basketball player), than us.

If you say so. But I don't have a team of analysts, statisticians, scouts and coaching staff to consult. Oh, and I'm also not Daryl Morey.

lol. I'm seriously chuckling at this. I'd kill to have the amount of data he must have on players. It would make for some interesting arguments in this forum based upon actual numbers instead of random opinions pulled out of our collective butts followed by everyone saying "well, it's just an opinion!"

Bosh averages 2 more rebounds and 8 more points then Scola does and gets paid a whole lot more too for it... We have other positions in need of players to throw money at

He got paid a lot less than Bosh. That should be changing soon enough.

The amount of money the rockets save picking Scola over Bosh is going to be worth more then 2 rebounds and 8 points.

The way I see it is that Les wants a superstar to get fans to fill the arena first and foremost and not because it may make the team better.

The difference between the Houston Rockets' and Phoenix Suns' offensive output this past season was almost exactly 8 points per game. Phoenix had the highest scoring offense in the league, Houston's was 8th.

Houston was the #13 rebounding team this season. They trailed the #1 team, Chicago, by about 2.5 rebounds per game.

So yes, 8 points and 2 rebounds is worth a lot more than you give it credit.

dude you would kill for data lol....Listen im not DM i know his goal is to make this team champs while generating revenue for the team....Of coarse with a big name like Chris Bosh he will get out team on more National TV games he will get more fans to the arena but we have tried all this before with another big name....McLazy....We dont need another NBA diva on this roster...LUIS SCOLA however is what HOUSTON is all about someone out there putting everything he has on the court...He is not making YouTube videos Begging to get into an All-Star game, he is on the court giving his all showing Heart and Hustling hard (which hopefully DM has some data of)....Luis Scola is what is right in the NBA and Chris Bosh is what is wrong in the NBA...and just to remind you pro-Bosh fans the last guy that was interested in himself rather than the team here is a little reminder

I agree with the Scola and AB part. I can stand to lose Hill, C-Bud, and even Battier(though I would hate that too), and a pick for Bosh. With AB and Martin on the perimeter and Bosh at the high post, Yao at the low. The Rockets are THE MOST DANGEROUS TEAM IN THE LEAGUE!!!. Would that trade work, C-BUD, HIll, Jefferies or Battier(Jefferies perferred), and 2011 Knicks pick for BOSH?

I was going to come in and say something witty like this is the "official I want to be rookified thread" or something...but that is the greatest picture I've ever seen.

    Bravo.

I am calling it, BOSH TO HOUSTON! Here's why... J. Johnson just signed with the Hawks. That was the appeal for Lebron to NY, Johnson and Amare. Because Johnson shows loyalty to Hawks, Lebron would look like a broad not to re-sign with the CAVS. He has a legacy to protect in addition to a new coach to work with in Byron Scott. LEBRON TO CAVS.

With Lebron back home, Amare in NY, Wade goes to CHI, especially if Boozer resigns with the Jazz. WADE TO CHI.

That leaves Bosh.... He doesn't go to CHI without a sign and trade. He WILL NOT sign out right because this is his last opportunity to get the max under the current CBA. CHI has no one trade for him( that they will be willing to trade that is) He won't go to Miami alone. NY is out because of Amare plus their roster will suck! That leave NJ and HOU. Seeing that HOU is the better team and bigger market....... BOSH TO HOUSTON!!!!!!!!

Word. If Luis would be 26, I would not hesitate to prefer him over Bosh because he is a winner and he comes cheap.
Otherwise Bosh the rest of the way.

No, it just tells you that there isn't much that separates top teams even down to middle-of-the-pack teams in the NBA if all you're going to use to defend your position is an 8 point and 2 rebound difference. If that's the route you want to go, then adding Bosh should make a big difference.

McGrady wasn't Morey's trade. LOL. That's from Les Alexander. Morey's trades have been much better, including the Spanoulis for Scola trade. Dorsey and Landry for Martin. Donte Greene for Artest( 2nd round of the playoffs).

I totally hated Bosh before we made the FA push. He only puts up stats on extremely bad teams and I feel like he has no idea how to anchor a defense. I would be happy if we got him, but not terribly disappointed if we missed out on it.

You are also looking at a year when the Rockets were without Yao. You mention the Suns and Chicago, both of which are in the same position we're in at the end of the season... ringless
