Power rankings are a weekly thing lol they arent predictions of anything. If the Rockets start winning then they will go up in the power rankings.
There is cache for Nuggs and Raps given their track record. Similar to the Rox being 0-2 they should have been in the 25-30 range considering their record imo.
Reading through this thread helps me Understand how QAnon has gained so Much traction. Y’all are some tinfoil hat losers. Nobody is out to get “your” basketball team.
I am pretty sure if Fox News will rank the Rockets as a top 3 team in NBA, OP will be willing to kiss Hannity's behind also.
I counted 9 Western Conference teams ahead of the Rockets.....seems about right. Those power rankings are often influenced by games won in the standings. We win more games.....we climb up the ladder of the power rankings. 1) Lakers 2) Clippers 3) Jazz 4) Nuggets 5) Suns 6) Mavs 7) Blazers 8) Pels 9) Spurs Just have to string some wins and overcome some of these clowns. Some of those other clowns predicted us to be 14th in the West. We are winning and we haven’t even won a game yet.
deserves its own power rankings thread second . . . we're 0-2 and in last place in the conference ALL BY OURSELVES. I'd say 19th is pretty damn generous.
Check out ESPN NBA front page. They’re desperate for harden trade. “The James Harden blockbuster is coming.”
what about the article do you disagree with? surely you didn’t just read a headline and start a knee-jerk thread to meet your narrative.
I read what was available (insider). And what I don’t like is that ESPN has no new information, they’re just rehashing old news and throwing out random conjecture. ESPN/media refuses to talk about the current roster of the Rockets. Only the “inevitable” Harden-less Rockets.
Said differently, you didn't read the article. You're not aware of any new information coming forward, or not, from the article you didn't read. In fact, what's available in the insider preview is not even a comment on the Rocket's organization. Windhorst is commenting on the inevitable temptation of borderline championship contenders to sell the farm for title swinging players, like Kahwi and Harden. The rockets aren't a subject of his opinion piece. He's not throwing out "random conjecture" in any capacity. So what exactly are you pissy about?
lighten up, Francis im annoyed that the media keeps pushing this “inevitable” harden trade and refuses to judge this team as currently constructed. And I was pointing out the espn nba page was pushing another harden trade piece.
Except the article you are using to exemplify an inevitable trade is not in any capacity doing what you are suggesting. You are pushing a false narrative. You're annoyed by something that isn't happening, not in the example you provided, at least. Figure it out, man.
Oh it’s not an article that makes the assumption that harden will be traded? That’s not what the title and opening paragraphs suggest? Hmm okay.
Moving on up! LOL. 17. Houston Rockets 2020-21 record: 2-2 Previous ranking: 19 John Wall became the first player since the Wizards' Michael Jordan to return from a two-year layoff by scoring at least 50 combined points in the first two games of his comeback, according to the Elias Sports Bureau. Wall, whose Rockets debut was delayed a week because of the league's health and safety protocols, averaged 25 points, 7.5 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.5 blocks in a pair of wins over the Kings, displaying the rare athleticism he was known for before his torn Achilles tendon. -- MacMahon
