How valuable is SAP training? The reason I'm asking is because where I'm currently interning they are about to implement SAP throughout the company in a couple of months. They've pretty much also guaranteed me a permanent entry level position in a month. I also have an interview with the Port of Houston tomorrow for another entry level position where I'm I'll be paid a slight more plus I hear they have better benefits too. I guess what I'm asking is, would it be worth it to stay where I currently am just to be able to put on my resume that I have experience with SAP?
Please spell check your resume. I had a resume from a woman with 25 years experience, with the objective of getting a "prostition with a fun and secure company." It might not be age discrimination, if you are not hired. After 25 years of corporate experience, you should be familiar with spell check in Microsoft Word. If somebody does not care enough to distinguish between position, prostition, and prostitution with some fun company, then you may not be considered for the communications position.

I feel you did a great job and I can clearly see a difference between a well organized resume and my bland one. I read over it a few times and can't really find anything that is out of place. All seems well structured and well placed. Great job, I could never have written anything like this. I can confidently apply for jobs knowing I have a good resume now. Job Search Tip of the Day August 15, 2012 To prevent sweaty hands prior to an interview, douse a cotton ball in rubbing alcohol and swab the entire surface of your hands an hour before the interview. This will keep them dry for about 3-4 hours. You can also apply antiperspirant (solid or liquid, no aerosol sprays) to your hands the night before the interview, and they should stay dry the rest of the following day. Air conditioner went out last night and had an interview this morning. Was unable to get a good night sleep in the house, temp was around 88* and I'm pretty sure the interviewer assumed I was on drugs since I was out of it during the whole thing. Joy looks like I'm stuck selling cars a little longer!!
Congrats. I'm a couple of steps behind you. I was planning to do that but couldn't get everything done in time. Im trying to do CT in the meantime and see what happens from there.
That's awesome. Congrats. Did you go straight therapy or did you work your way from xray? I'm xray and ct certified and in a year, I'll be radiation therapy. Eventually I want to do Dosimetry. I've Already checked into a few schools on that end, but I don't wanna count my chickens, you know?
No xray- 2 year program. Mid life career change. Dosimetry is interesting, but don't want to spend life in a dark room working on a computer. Maybe you can find somewhere with on the job dosi training, although I think soon a degree will be required.
Congrats, as well! I know this may not be exactly in your field, but I think it's similar-when it's time to write your resume, maybe you can use some elements of this sample I wrote for a client (of course, this is a Plain Text conversion, so it will look a bit different in MS Word in terms of spacing, etc.): MEDICAL PHYSICIST Several years of clinical setting experience includes Medical Physicist and Assistant Medical Physicist positions.
