i have no problem with anyone - conservative or liberal - claiming to be a servant to our president. the call of service is a good one and one we would all be wise to heed. there is nothing wrong with being inspired to do something for your country.

now if obama or bush had actually said "y'all are servants to me", then your being troubled at some hypothetical hypocrisy would make sense, but as far as i know, neither one of them have said that. obama has simply requested that people give back to their country. nothing wrong with that no matter the ideology that person subscribes to.

I watched it again and caught the Demi Moore part but she was the only one who pledged "to be a servant". The other guy kissing his biceps pledged "to be of service".

I didn't really find it creepy but like most celebrity PSA's I found it hokey. Personally I could really care less what celebrities are pushing and I think anyone who decides how they should live their lives based on celebrities has some problems.

Especially if you are looking to Ashton Kutchner for guidance by all means get some help!
