    the fact is there are still a lot of people like bigtexxx who still have their priorties in the wrong place. they think religion is a top priority in this country...

    The fact that there is an article about this ridiculous...in a country that has NO official religion. We used to pride ourselves on separation of church and government.

    I still dont believe in America....I'll be more impressed with a non-christian is elected president. That will NEVER happen.

    I highly doubt Texxx has religion as his number one priority. He's just being a d-bag trying to get a stir out of you guys and as usual you are all falling for it.

    How dare the President not attend Church....ON CHRISTMAS!! WTF! If he can't show up then, how the hell do we expect him to show up on Inauguration Day? Maybe GOD can fill in for him............

    By the way, Obama will be the first President (since Lincoln himself) to place his hand on the Lincoln bible as he takes the Oath of Office.

    To be fair, a lot of Christians do not attend church on Christmas day.

    The simple answer is...this is none of your f***ing business. It is no one's business to tell anyone how they should chose to celebrate, pray, or whatever when it comes to one's religion.

    Get a grip and, most importantly, get a life.

    This is odd to me.

    The role of God in your life and your faith can be important to you without feeling the dire need to go to a church. Some people get a lot out of going to church. For those who do, going to church is a wonderful thing.

    Some people can be very spiritually involved and have a strong faith without the need to go to church.

    If you are a person who does not feel a need to go to church but you go to prove your faith to others, then you are a hypocrite. At least Obama did not go to a church with the family as a thinly veiled photo op like some politicians have done.

    There are people that I know that do not go to church who seem to "get it" a lot better than some regular church goers I know.
