I can't wait to see the resident D&D clowns attempt to attack Obama because of this.

While this story is disturbing, it is not surprising. Considering where these incidents occurred.

Marietta, Georgia is not known for it's cultural sensitivity.

I doubt the fine citizens of Vidor, Texas would roll out the welcome mat either.

None of these folks would probably be voting for a Democrat regardless of his skin color.

The fact of the matter is that 99.9% of encounters are NOT this way.

This article is an attempt to portray Obama as some type of victim, imo.

The stories about these threats all come from the Midwest and Northeast. And I don't know about all of Vidor, but the mayor (elected in non-partisan election) is heavily involved in the Democratic Party here in Southeast Texas.

It is a testament on how the Obama campaign’s reaction to this kind of behavior puts the Trader_Jorge lie to rest that it is relying on victim-hood as a way to win this election.

More power to these hard working people who endue the attitudes of bigoted, narrow minded people to work for a cause that is bigger than themselves and for a cause they believe in.

The Obama supporters cry foul over this alleged behavior, then print up shirts that say vote Obama -- "Bro's before Ho's". So sexism/misogyny is just fine and dandy to them apparently.

What's that ol' saying about throwing stones in glass houses...

Dude, pgabs, what are you talking about? I have no clue what you are referring to in my post.

But you must admit it is hypocritical of the Obama campaign to promote sexism/misogyny while at the same time complaining about alleged racism.

It is very sad but from personal experience I can tell you being a campaign door knocker insults come with the job. A lot of people don't like being bothered at home by someone coming to their door and some aren't shy about showing their feelings. Its sad that for Obama there is a racial angle but insults and threats aren't new for campaign workers.

If you have to stretch the truth to make your point, chances are you don't have one.
