I'm calling any supporter who would vote for the lesser candidate because of a perceived slap to the face (please) a baby and a traitor. If they somehow think that McCain represents their views better than Obama, then so be it. Just don't give us another four years of Bush because you're bitter. For the record, I'd be saying the same thing if the shoe was on the other foot and Obama supporters had been running to McCain because they were upset with Nominee Clinton.

But thanks for calling me sexist. Appreciate it.

I'm saying it's stupid to say that Sebelius is less qualified because she isn't.

That's fine, Batman, but I disagree. Is it OK to disagree?

    Impeach Bush.

Sure. You can disagree that the sky is blue too as far as I'm concerned. We all have the right to be wrong. Have at it.

I've been wrong plenty of times. On this matter though, it is easy to check the record. Use Wikipedia. Use whatever. Sebelius and Clinton have different kinds of experience, but suggesting that Clinton is plainly more experienced or more qualified is just flat wrong. Sebelius is less famous. Maybe that's what you meant to say.

I usually scroll right past Trader_J. The only reason I posted in his thread about "the forum" was that no one else created a thread to discuss it. The guy pops into any thread he think he can use to stir things up. Beyond tiresome? Yes, but you just have to "fly by" his posts.

I apologize for implying that, RM95. It was an opinion better kept to myself. Your post just read that way to me and I posted my immediate impression. My bad, in the parlance of our times.

Yeah, me too. I didn't mean to make it sound that way, I would just really hate for something like that to happen, especially after what we saw in '00 with Nader.

    Keepin' it Civil. ;)

    Less qualified than who?

Less qualified than Barakka Dukakka? Now that's a low bar to clear.

Less qualified than HRC? Of course she is less qualified than HRC. If you are going to argue that Se-what's-her-name is more qualified than a candidate who received 18 million votes for president, then you are just not keeping it real.

No kidding! This has been one of the strangest political seasons I can remember. Assuming everyone stays alive and healthy, maybe the strangest. I can't remember getting in as many dustups with people I like here than I have the last few months. Truly a trip of the first order!

If I may Deck (at least my perception) is that from the beginning your support for Obama has been somewhat "yeah, but..."

It's not a major thing, just kind of unwarranted sometimes.
