    4

We set a grand total of 4 picks. You might be able to make an argument that there were 5, one was debatable whether it was actually a pick.

That is insane. Where is our coach in a situation like that? We have Faried.. we have Capela.. and we only use them to set 4 picks in the entire 4th quarter? We only set 4 picks as our massive lead is dwindling quickly? We go from Capela and Faried both setting picks at the same time in the 1st half, to 4 being set in the 4th quarter..

How many of those floaters Harden missed could have been made, or could he have assisted on if we pick and rolled with Faried or Capela?

When the pick and roll is our bread and butter, how is setting 4 picks in the entire 4th quarter even possible from a NBA team with a 'professional' coaching staff? That is a below amateur competency.

On another note, my prediction which I posted almost 10 days ago is close to truth:

    "Prediction:

Rockets go into the 4th quarter with a 22 point lead and then proceed to blow it and lose the game. The Lakers, shocked that they came back (not realizing that this is just what the Rockets seem to do) are re-energized, motivated, and go into a hot streak that ends with them squeeking into the playoffs

:( it's going to be our Rockets fault for re-vitalizing the Lakers."

^^ how I wish that prediction was wrong. I have to be honest though, it was a fairly easy prediction to make.

Reminds me of that Spurs series where Capela was just too tired in crunch time to set a proper pick

because they use the 3 as a crutch, our 3pt % plummets as the defense tightens and we get tired legs, even then for some reason we don't shoot open 3s. Its always contested fadeaway or stepback.

Sometimes I wonder if Rockets stop setting picks because they know the fix is in and they will call a foul every time. If Harden can go one on one there is no way a ref can rig that.

Dantoni is an overrated coach who doesn’t stick with what is working and can’t adjust when teams throw a wench in his game plan.

That spurs playoff series showed me just how bad of a coach he really is.

Effective system but a shitty x’s and o’s coach.

It’s the reason why he’s always choked everywhere he’s been.

I wouldn't go that far but yeah... his system is great but his adjustments/X's and O's are lacking big time.

The first mistake you made, was thinking our 'coach' has the ability to do anything to rectify that.

He doesn't. We may as well have McHale drawing plays on the bench.

    Zero = zero.

    ^This

His mentality of how to set proper screens totally F'd him up. I would probably have done the same had Scott Foster called a whistle on me.

Can't set screens when Foster will literally call offensive foul on Harden for dribbling down the court.
