i mean how many years did he play with harden to establish himself. is that really a surprise to you and when you see bottom barrel capela immediately came to your mind. interesting. nvm the long list of out of league players harden has played with

Even Capela is putting up his lowest FG%, 2PT%, and TS% without those easy lobs from Harden, while DeAndre Jordan has his highest FG% of his career next to Harden.

If you can catch the ball and dunk, Harden can get you easy points.

    Dwight couldn't understand that.

The success of our 2015 WCF roster was preposterous

Regular season- 2nd seed with a heavily injured team

Playoff roster- basically an 8 Man rotation of...

    Old Man Terry
    Harden
    Ariza
    Josh Smith
    Dwight

    Tjones
    Brewer
    Old Man Prigioni

And then a few scrap minutes for
    Young Capela
    Nick Johnson
    Papadapolous
    Dorsey

Most of those guys careers fell apart shortly after

    I loved that team lol

shouldn’t have traded for Lawson . Chemistry fell apart ;)

like the rest of the rockets “failures” . Luck plays a huge role . Beverley and Dmo has good years that year . Dwight hurt his knee game 1 vs GS .

    Great video.

Breaks down his unique defensive and offensive versatility. Switchability on guards and shot-blocking ability.

He very much reminds me of Clint with more offensive versality because of his handles.

the greatness of Harden allows someone like 6’4 Brown to be played as a rim roller, and it works

put Brown on the Rockets and he’d be looking like G-League material most likely

Harden could make a scrub big like Patton look decent on a winning team...he did it before with Tarik Black in 2015

This guy ( Claxton) was locking the Pacers guards down . He is going to be Jonathan Issac type defensive player

His defensive versatility is elite level already. He can switch onto guards and forwards with ease. Then he turns around and does this as a help defender on Sabonis. He just needs to get stronger. Not trying to get too carried away, but this is young KG type stuff defensively from an ability standpoint. Locking up guards on the perimeter and blocking shots in the paint. So much potential. KG just had a different edge and mentality to him. I don’t think Claxton is crazy enough to get to that level of dominance lol. Seems too nice.

This Claxton guy seemingly has come out of nowhere. Outside of being elevated by Harden’s game I was completely shocked by his defensive ability. How the hell did we not get him in the Harden trade

Should’ve asked Spencer Dinwiddie about him.

“So, I still believe JA (Jarrett Allen) is going to be an All-Star, but Nic is the second-most talented player on this team,” Dinwiddie said to NY Post. “[First] is KD, either the first or second most talented scorer of all-time. But Nics' got game. He’s got a chance [to be great].”
